Get a standard deck of playing cards, then get a duplicate card of anything. On the duplicate card, write some sort of phrase asking them out (i.e. "coffee?") Place that on top of the deck, with the original directly underneath it. Ask them to write their name on the back of the top card, then flip the TOP TWO cards face-up (concealing the duplicate you write on) and tell them to write whatever they want as you look away. Let them do so, and flip the cards back, saying you will read their mind. Place the top card (which will have their name as well as your message) face-down, and place their hand on it an your hand on theirs. Guess "coffee?"
