How about we just skip all this bullshit and just make the following?

 

Bujinvasion

Quick-Play Spell Card

Activate only while you control a Beast-Warrior-type "Bujin" Xyz monster. Destroy all cards your opponent controls (min. 1), and if you do, Banish all cards in your opponent's hand, Deck, and Graveyard, and deal 16000 damage to your opponent's Life Points for every card banished by this effect. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated.

 

Need a "You can only activate 1 'Bujinvasion' per turn' clause, to make it balanced.

I'm getting the impression that you guys think Bujins are actually good.

It doesn't matter if they are good or not. Because that's not the issue with this support. 

 

It's the fact that this support was entirely superflous and gives one deck 6 archetype specific Honests. A deck that's not even got that as its' core mechanic. It's so pointlessly idiotic that it deserves the reaction it's getting.

7 Honests is of course, ridiculously stupid, but when it comes to deck construction and what's safer, people would decide between Crane and Sinyou and would decide alternatives or trying to manage both. But of course Sinyou much more predictable and much more susceptible to things like Necrovalley and Macro Cosmos. In truth, many wouldn't consider this at all except keeping at least 1 but generally TCG Konami could have done a more creative or different effect to derive away from the pace original Bujins were going. Crane outclasses this by quite a lot.

if they go for 3 sinyou instead of hare-turtle-sinyou then they're probably bad and should lose anyways

Except Armades stops Bujins too.

But not a triple tenki'd xyz. Or just susan in general without assistance.

Though I don't think either is inferior in the case of bujin killing. They just exploit different weaknesses.

Armades is the better call against them. Catastor dies to negation, and if you haven't noticed, that is to be run in spades post DUEA/PRIO.

They can use Bunny before the BP to stop Armades though.

And? Then you outplay the bunny because you no longer have to worry about it. They can Breakthrough you pre-BP, too. It forces them to react pre-emptively, which is good for you.

But anyway, on Sinyou itself... I'll try it as a one-of, but its sheer predicability hurts it.
