Quick-Play Spell Card
You can only activate 1 “Mask Change Second” per turn. (1) Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster you control; send that monster to the Graveyard, and if you do Special Summon from your Extra Deck 1 “Masked HERO” monster with the same Attribute but a higher Level than the sent monster. (This counts as a Special Summoned by “Mask Change”.

 

So, Masked HEROs are now (kind of) splashable. Interesting.

Even if that new Fusion is a one-sided Macro that now is somewhat splashable and perfectly accessible, I think I'm still more ok with that than actual Macro. It DOES have the plus of battle affecting them.

As for Acid... somehow I think that nowadays the "nuke opponent's" cards can actually be more acceptable than the "nuke everyone's " cards, since more often than not the "everyone's " will still nuke the opponent's cards while potentially starting off combos with your own stuff, and even if not it's not too hard to have the right field to have your opponent lose more than you there. We'll see how that turns out. I'm as iffy as I was with Dark Hole when it getting unbanned sounded like a horrible idea....
