Zauls
I guess they like this format. To be honest this format has actually been really good compared to many previous ones. Geargiagear was pretty much the main problem with the format and they hit that. I would have liked to see Hands and Soul Charge hit, too, but not much else actually list attention. ~British Soul~
I've seen someone on FB have 36 of them up for trade (No joke), including 6 DT, 12 Ulti, 9 Ultra and 9 Secret.
%phil
I've seen someone on FB have 36 of them up for trade (No joke), including 6 DT, 12 Ulti, 9 Ultra and 9 Secret. yeah ik a lot of people hoarded them like they hoard a lot of borderline banned cards (zenmaity, trish etc). i'm not really a massive trader but i did pick 3 up as basically throw-ins (i even got an ultra for free and i got an ultra 1st as a £1 throwin) but yeah serious banlist post: goyo to 1 is fine, it's a really fun card and i always loved it no matter if it's slightly unhealthy geargiagear to 1 is just konami fixing the mistake they made last banlist in not touching geargie mof should be at 3, like seriously it sucks formula to 2 is meh, but i guess glow-up bulb/fishborg blaster was more of an issue than formula itself so sure rota to 2 is easily the worst hit on the list (the only bad one, to be honest), i don't believe any generic type searcher card should be at more than one (i advocate tenki and, hell, even fossil dig in theory to 1), it just makes warrier-based decks more consistant and nobody really wants more consistant noble knights because they're mind-numbingly dull to play against (i advocate tenki and, hell, even fossil dig in theory to 1) battle traps to 3 is a weird one, prison is such a mediocre card that it should never really have been semi'd imo and i don't really see how 3 prison is any better/worse than 2. mirror force punishes bad play, i guess, so it's not too bad that it's at 3. werewolfjedi
ah, okay. yeah it really is the policy of the game now, monster destruction is widespread and cheep. it's spells and traps that are harder to mass destroy.
:^)
Goyo unbanned for 5Ds Legendary Collection Hype so it sells more. It will most likely be reprinted in it so the price will fluctuate more and more. Magician of Faith might as well have gone to 3. Geargiagear obvious. But Konami should have stuck to copy and pasting OCG banlist.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll get unbanned in October. I suppose that if they had unbanned it this list, then they probs would've put DSF in the upcoming Astral Pack with the Errata. Speedy the First
Eh, I was expecting more, but it's fine. The unbanning of Goyo wasn't a surprise, it isn't so much of a threat now that Syncros aren't being used anymore. The hit to Geargiagear was well deserved, I'm sure that many people are rejoicing over that. MoF wasn't doing much anyways, I don't know why they didn't just bring it up to three. Eh, same with Formula as with Goyo. RoTA... Woohoo... more Warrior support... Mirror and D Prison coming back to three doesn't suprise me.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Tbh, I have nothing wrong with this list, other than certain things not going on the list solely to not hurt sales of new cards.

But Konami should have stuck to copy and pasting OCG banlist. I think it's fine that we have different banlists. Same banlist would only be justified if Konami tried to release their product at the same time everywhere without regional exclusives and whatnot. Otherwise we are getting instant banned cards released here because Japan found a way to break them 3 months before we could even get our hand on them. The one issue with different banlists is that OCG is most likely to get favored when players have to obey a list at world's. Though I'd still go for different banlists as the OCG until Konami decides we are all getting the same cards without a 3+ month difference. Plus, a few OCG lists I saw ever since the split have been pretty questionable at best when compared to over here IMO.

The Warden
I'm well aware dear; Konami likes sacrifice the balance of the game in favour of making a quick buck, even though it leaves us with a f**king stupid deck for ANOTHER 3 months. But Konami should have stuck to copy and pasting OCG banlist. The release date for Legendary Collection 5Ds is October 24th 2014. The next banlist takes effect October 1st 2014. While it may be a move to sell more Legendary Collections to a degree, I can't really see the entire point of it coming back being to see the Legendary Collections when they could have just waited until the next banlist to unban it and then hype would be higher for Goyo leading to an increase in sales in LC5Ds.Also we shouldn't stick to the OCG list at all, they used to be half decent at actually making banlists but now they're just the actual worst formats known to man. I dunno how even the OCG players can accept half of the changes that they've made.

I dunno how even the OCG players can accept half of the changes that they've made. While I agree with this, they could still at least make passable TCG banlists. It's not like the OCG banlist is exponentially worse than the TCG banlist, but the TCG banlist is exponentially worse than a good format.
SANDAA BORUTO
http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/ Banned: None Uh... Okay? Can't say I was expecting this. Limited: Goyo Guardian YES!!! Geargiagear Had to be done. Semi-Limited: Magician of Faith Should have gone to 3 IMO. Formula Synchron Not bad. I always though it had gotten too weak to remain at 1. Still, I wouldn't put it at 3 anytime soon. Reinforcement of the Army I like this, but I know people will disagree with me. Unlimited: Dimensional Prison I love this card. The fact that it doesn't destroy is awesome. I always try to find Deck space to put as many of this as I can or am allowed to. Mirror Force Same as D-Prison, except it destroys, but doesn't target. Now that it's at 3 it can be really trollish.

The Warden
Because LS and Judgderp were held back by their sheer lack of consistency. With the advent of Rulers, that issue has been thrown out the window. Now LSRulers can toss their entire deck away and still reap the benefits by merit of Eclipse Wyvern and the Rulers to search JD.
