~British Soul~
1 "Shaddoll" monster + 1 LIGHT monster Must first be Fusion Summoned. If this card is Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Shaddoll" card from your Deck to the Graveyard. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Special Summoned monster: Destroy that monster. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Shaddoll" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. ... Not the biggest fan of its TCG name, but I'll live with it, discuss? Blake
The hell is this? It's not even a construct. She's not made by the dolls. She's the main body that's ducking controlling the dolls. I don't mind name changes, but this just fucking throws flavor out of the window.

I thought by keeping El-Shaddoll, Qliphort, Samsara's ankh and Castel's musket, Konami was showing that they were easing up on the censorship. Guess not in ways that really, truly matter. Oh, and Tewart was responsible for Midrash to Winda too.

What the f***? Tewart's like Sakurai in the sense that you can never predict them. If you try to, your mind will be fornicated hard. Ultravires
Just remember, Tewart is the reason we have Avalon. The rest of R&D thought it was a fucking stupid idea but he wanted that scene from Arthurian legend embodied in card art, and they let him come up with the effect. This is the kind of incompetence we've been dealing with since he worked for UDE. Regardless of how much good he's done for the game in getting us Exclusives and imports, he's still a moron. heraldry_lord
Welp, can't chalk it up to fanslation error this time; this was a blatant name change if I've ever seen one. I'll probably get over it pretty soon, and if Nephilim is just a puppet body for Tierra as the rumours say, "Construct" might not be too bad. a bad post
It wouldn't be a bad name change, if like Black said it didn't through all flavor out the window. Too big a religious reference for it to be appropriate. They could have just named in El Shaddoll Giant (or some variation of it since Nephilim were described as giants in the Torah/Old Testament) or even El Shaddoll Angel would've been fine, since her art does make her look quite angelic (Plus we have things like Shining Angel, so it's not like would've caused a problem with religious references). The art looks fantastic though, unfortunately she'll probably be hella expensive.

Marco Polo
that's it. changing qliphoths to qliphorths , midrash to winda and now this? what's next, apoqliphoth eliminator? OCG <
Airride
that's it. changing qliphoths to qliphorths and midrash to winda and now this. I'm off to ocg forever. alteast, if no then I'm definitely never gonna use the tcg names. Except Qliphoths were always Qliphorts and Qliphoths was just a mistranslation originally? But yeah, name changes are flavorless and dumb.

But yeah, name changes are flavorless and dumb. It's Qliphoth in hebrew, which is the original term. so how is the same word a mistranslation? the japanese translation, according to wikia is Kurifōto, then again, there's no r between the fo and the to. It's been stated over and over again that Qliphort IS the OCG name, and Qliphoth was a mistranslation based on Tool's flavor text. The OCG is s*** and you should feel s*** for liking it at all.
