He found a animatron which was meant for human usage but was deemed unsafe (Freddy Fazzbear caring? What has the world come to?) and it killed him. Game 2 adds the 'toy' ones, in addition to "broken" versions of the original. Game 3 has Springtrap/etc. Game 4 has shown us Freddie and Bonnie... And.... ? Bonnie scared me early on in Night 2, I shrieked, and looked up to see my family and most of the people around us staring. Not sure if ready to go back to it...
