Dramatic Crossroad
I've been browsing through the forums looking for appropriate place to start this topic, and since it's story-related decided this is where it would most fit. Basically i'm trying to figure out the scenario told by the cards, while keeping an open eye for more hints, so let's complete this puzzle together. Here is what i have for now: From what can be seen, survivors of the previous wars and the battle with Sophia that most likely are: Naturia Sacred Tree Leo ,The Keeper (Leodrake) Kerykeion (Rasalhague) - not 100% confirmed Sombre (Lazuli) Exciton Knight (Roach) Gishki Avance Gishki Emilia (the latter 3 can be seen on "Sacred Serpent's Wake") and the newly introduced: Sylvans Satellarknight "Curse of the Shadow Prison" Rasalhague's staff is seen at the base of the shadow. "Yang Zing Creation" Sombre awakening/creating the Ryusei (Yang Zing) "El Shadoll Fusion" What i interpret as Leo keeping safe Pilica, the heir of the Gusto, and thus failing to protect the Sacred Tree from the attacks of Ell Shadoll Wynda. From Master's Guide 4: "A commanding officer of the “Gem-Knights”, the main force in the Great War. He fused repeatedly to adapt to any situation in the battles, but eventually gave all his powers to “Sombre” and fell. It seems that “Crystal’s” core, which had stopped functioning after the Great War, began overloading due to the forced multiple Fusions he endured. The Core absorbed all light, and turned into an ominous form. Something like this has never happened before… Maybe this has something to do with that ominous feeling I’ve been sensing lately…" "Cairngorgorn, Antiluminescent Knight" would be Crystal overloading after excessive fusions and falling into darkness after channeling all its power to Sombre. It seems to be the "Shadoll Core". At some later point, he tried to absorb the powers of his previous comrades using what appears to be the remnants of Gem-Knight Pearl and transformed into "El Shadoll Egrystal", but either overloaded again or was simply destroyed. Supposedly after the assault depiced on "El Shadoll Fusion", the tree 'decided' to fight back the Shadolls and set its auto-defense mechanisms - "Apoqliphort". As seen on "Saqliphort" the orbs/pearls of Egrystal we absorbed by Naturia's Sacred Tree, which used them, along with the sephiroth to program the Qliphorts. ("Qliphortran"). Even with the power of Pendulum, the Qliphorts seem to be overpowered, and their main attacker - "Apoqliphort Killer" is simply absorbed by the fusion power of the Shadolls was turned into another tool to be used ("El Shadoll Shekhinaga") Still nothing so far explains the origins of "El Shadoll Construct" (Nephilim). It seems that these archetypes are related, Atlantians/Mermails & Fire Kings, Endymions & Prophecy, but there is still no hint that they enhabit the same dimension as these. Blake
Most of this is stuff I've already posted, but the Qliphorts were NEVER enemies of the Shaddolls. Tierra is the controller of the dolls and mainly resides inside of Nephilim/Construct. She also controls the Qliphorts, as seen in the lore of Tool. Egrystal was burnt as a sacrifice to raise the Qliphorts, hence why it's FIRE I'll go more in depth later if I feel like it.
Jord200
Reeze and Kamui also survived. It was said that Piriko is their daughter.

Darj
Why not bring that thread up instead? Either way, not much to add right now, I just want to point out that the OP states Sylvans are from the DT World, when that is incorrect.

It's just pictures of the assorted monsters and S/T (like Saqliphort) from the 4 DT Archs)then the rumor mill has a bit of backstory rumor that I'd predicted ahead of time; Namely that Nephilim/Construct is the main body of Tierra. It's likely that Neph/struct is a hijacked Sombres, given the appearance and similar stats to Lazuli + Seraphi's stats, and then Rasalhague's staff has been shown multiple places and is covered in the killer thread. Also, Gaiastraleo, a NECH OCG Exclusive, is a fusion of Landoise and Leo, so more than just the listed survivors are still around.Sylvans aren't DT.EDIT: FFS DOUBLE POST D<Reeze and Kamui also survived. It was said that Piriko is their daughter. Also, on this; Pilica is stated to be the daughter of Reeze and have Kamui's staff passed down to her.It is not confirmed who the father is in the cleared up lore, to my knowledge, only stated to be the chief. Goose
So what is Tierra?
Blake
So what is Tierra? This was also in the rumor thread, and is not confirmed. All we know for sure is that, given the nature of the Qliphoth as opposed to the Sephirot (both mentioned in the flavor text of Qliphort Tool), is that Tierra is the opposite, and likely equal, of Sophia. Where Sophia controlled the Sephirot (assumed to be the top half of the Naturia Tree as the tree of life), Tierra controlled the Qliphoth.http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/320339-tcgocg-the-rumor-mill-new-tribe-force-confirmation-potential-903-the-secret-of-evolution-leaks-noble-knight-updates/page-2#entry6455913EDIT: Also, don't use Junktion ride as a reason the rumor is wrong. The guy intentionally fakes info because it keeps Konami off of his case, and has told us such.He mixes good with the bad.

Slinky
Other than the "Gem stones". Do we have definitive proof that the Qliphorts are related to the Gem-Knights? is the official lore even out yet? or are we still just speculating based on the card art right now? (although it is reasonable speculation)

Blake
The Qliphorts clearly have gems within them, have a 10 theme (there were 10 Gem-Knights + Lazuli, who moved on), and the arts of Egrystal, Saqliphort, and each Qliphort implies it. Excluding the clear evidence doesn't make sense.

Excluding the clear evidence doesn't make sense. Because the art itself doesnt make sense. Cairngorgorn (and in retrospect Egrystal) were 3 Gem-Knights fused together, so why are all 10 gemstones shown being sucked out of Egrystal, when there really only should have been 3. Blake
Because the art itself doesnt make sense. Cairngorgorn (and in retrospect Egrystal) were 3 Gem-Knights fused together, so why are all 10 gemstones shown being sucked out of Egrystal, when there really only should have been 3. ... wat Gem-Knight Master Diaond is Crystal. He was made from the fusion of all the main deck Gem-Knights bar Lazuli: Emerald Obsidian Garnet Sapphire Tourmaline Iolite Amber Sardonyx Alexandrite and Crystal. Garnet becomes Ruby Sapphire becomes Aquamarine Tourmaline becomes Topaz Crystal becomes Prismaura, Citrine, Amethyst, Zirconia, and Diamond. I forget who becomes pearl when bound with Gishki Shellfish This art depicts Crystal fusing with all of them to become Master Diamond, presumably with their remains. This makes sense, because this seems to have been a "forbidden" fusion technique that led to the next card. Absorb Fusion depicts the collapse of all the Gem-Knights while they were fused as Master Diamond. This is the birth of Cairngorgon. Also to note, Lazuli/Seraphinite + Diamond Sword + Remains of the Constellar = Sombres. The only reason Diamond is 3 IRL is because: A. Pratical to summon but still be a boss. B. Future Fusion was legal so 3+ would've been absurd.
Blake
EDIT: Come to think of it, this is probably why Sombres got bodyjacked. She used Diamond's sword to help her fuse with the Constellars, which made her unstable due to the nature of how Diamond's sword was made. and ffs double pooooooooosts D<
Dramatic Crossroad
Ok, sorry to have post misleading/unconfirmed information. It was not intentional, also, i was unable to find, or rather unaware of the Theory Section. I will try to update/fix the main post after reading all about the related cards and topics :)
Darj
Since Necloths are apparently taking armors from former Verz monsters, I was looking at the candidates for becoming Necloths when this card caught my attention: From where this monster comes from? At first I thought it was a corrupted Gem-Knight (as it is the case of most of the Verz: corrupted versions of DT monsters), but it has its own gem (bloodstone). The wikia implies it is Emerald, but that would be strange since Emeral's gem/core is later used for Qliphort Archive, which means that Emerald was among the Gem-Knights who fused with Crystal to become Diamond. Unless Crystal absorbed Heliotrope/corrupted Emeral, and it could be the source of Diamond's corruption?
