Spell Striker

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard. This card can attack your opponent directly. You take no battle damage from attacks involving this card.

So yeah, with the new list, RotA can now be consistently used as an Emergency Teleport engine except much more flexible, because Level 4 and lower Warriors are by far one of the more flexible cards in the game. The only thing that Emergency Teleport has over RotA is that it can immediately drop Level 2 or 3 Tuners on the field, but considering that the Warrior-type card pool is much more massive and flexible and still keeps growing, and the fact that the game still keeps concentrating much more on the Xyzs and Pendulums, and the fact that Glow-Up Bulb and Spore are back, that really isn't that much of an accomplishment anymore.

S-T-R-I-K-E-R Oh, that's not what this thread is about? Ok. I remember the usage of this in Madolches was a subject of many heated debates pre Angelly, though seems like the debates has died down after that. Still, not much deck actually appreciate an easily SS-able level 3 Earth warrior that took 6 deck slots, but having it as an option for an engine is nice, I guess.

I'm a really primitive yugioh player, heard nothing of engines and all the mathematics you guys do, but this seems like a free SS.

I'm thinking Monarchs?

They don't need it if they have Frogs. Plus, you're not really going to get many Spell Strikers unless you devote waaaay too much of your Deck to receiving and recovering it, and unlike the Frog engine all Striker does is be Tribute Fodder.

I'm running a silly Synchro spam with this, RoTA, an E-Tele Engine, and TGs.
It's in the works but it's pretty darn fun.

Also viable in an U.A. deck, if you swing that way. Hue.

Pretty darn good in just about anything that R3s as well, but can also just not do anything to further a deck (as opposed to another card that would), it depends.
