Machine/Synchro/Effect

2400/3800

(This card is always treated as a "Superheavy Samurai" card.)

This card can attack while it is in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if this card is in Defense Position and you have no Spell Cards in your Graveyard: You can pay 500 LP, then target 1 Spell Card in your opponent's Graveyard; activate that Spell Card on your side of the field.

Going to assume that its materials are 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Superheavy Samurai" monsters for now, given what Gongenzaka used to summon it last episode.

As a whole, it has a solid 3800 DEF to destroy most, if not all, things it attacks; 2400 ATK is still enough to deal with smaller monsters [but why would you switch it out of Defense Position anyway?]

Activating a Spell from the opponent's Graveyard is an interesting effect; you can "re-use" your opponent's MST that they just used or some other stuff that can work for you. Then again, it requires no Spells in your own Graveyard but that's not a problem here, since Superheavys don't carry S/T (or for that matter, "explicit" backrow).

(As for the picture, you can just click on the thumbnail and you should get some preview sizes for others [if you don't want to use the full 1280x760])

This is pretty damn nice for Gongenzaka to have in Action Duels; His deck's drawback is that it can't make use of them at all, now his opponent's cards can be used with only a life point penalty to him, and odds are they'll ALWAYS have Action Cards in their graveyard dueling him, as getting over his beefy monsters is easiest done with those (by anime standards).
