Slinky
Penguin Soldier: Pretty standard, bouncing 2 monsters. Stopped by Royal Command, but hitting 2 targets is pretty damn sweet Snowmaneater: Deals with stuff like Constellarknight Diamond and Dark Law while evading Royal Command. Its 1900 def also stops it from being run over by things like Shaddoll Dragon in the mirror. Downsides are: Mandatory, and it destroys. It is also a Debris Dragon target for those random builds that never seem to work Nightmare Penguin: Sort of an upgrade to Snowmaneater. It has lower defense (thus making it susceptible to Shaddoll Dragon), but it makes up for it by evading Royal Command and Destruction Immunities. In addition, its bouncing is not limited to monsters, being able to bounce various backrow problems as well as getting rid of potential threats. Fishborg Planter: Its like a Glow-Up Bulb, but isn't restricted to once per duel. Provides extra mill and sets off the effects of Shaddoll Core and its various monsters. Wildflame
Isn't Planter send a cost? I'd probably try Treeborn in a build that plays multiple Majesty/Caius. But first things first, we will see if it's actually worth to play anything WATER in the deck when the fusion is revealed.

Why bother with any of these ahead of the Hands? Because the hands are pretty terrible in a Shaddoll format.
Sleepy
I'd try the penguins if it was up to me, Mainly because this sounds fun: -Extra meat wall -Bypasses anti FLIP effects -Recycles Nightmare Penguin and potentially gives it more of a chance to survive to become Extra Deck fodder next turn. -Decently searchable. -Nopenguin. Though depending on how many advantages I'd take, it'd cross over to the "too much dedication on the wrong place" category. Still sounds fun to me. Miror B
Unless Shadolls have some WATER fusion I haven't heard about, Snowman and Fishborg are outclassed by Ryko and Glow-Up respectively. At least that's how I see it.

Miror B
This thread is for when the WATER fusion comes out... But I still don't see why you'd run Fishborg over Glow-Up unless the WATER fusion is borked as hell.
goddamnit names are a pain
Treeborn Frog >=D Well, hell, it could work, in theory. Either spam out your backrow or Monster mash. Makes valid Tribute fodder for a Monarch or Majesty's Fiend, and otherwise is fusion fodder. Super Poly to take that pesky 101 away. =P Penguin Soldier is also really neat, considering its effect and the fact that some people hesitate to attack random facedowns nowadays. Steam Synchron + Quickdraw Synchron + 3 Tunings= Shadoll Synchro and the WIND/WATER fusions are covered? pfffttt Hell, I could just play one of Steam, Quickdraw, Nitro, Junk, Road, and Bri for f***ing maximum lolz. Damnit, now I have to do this. Ok, I'll probably just do the QDS and Steam thing. Level Eater?

Blake
The issue is that this antisynergizes with core, as well as sinister shadow games. Not really? Core doesn't hit the field until late game most times, if ever, and SSG can be flipped whenever, so it won't conflict with treeborn. And treeborn won't be essential to the deck like Monarchs, so not being able to summon it every turn is hardly a problem. We'll probably get a new generic WATER And WIND, but arm Raiza and Möbius are the best we have. And möbius isn't great right now. Treeborn's a cute idea as a situational revive that your deck isn't dependent on, but not sure it's pan out. The Penguins aren't awful, but they seem too slow to be of value. Fishborg planter is cute as hell, but bad. Fusing with Nimble Angler, be it from deck or hand, has a lot of synergy... But it needs too Much space for the engine. There's Mermaid Shark, but it has no worthwhile targets and it's only half decent on El-Shaddoll Fusion turns. Tbh Raiza will be played in the deck when it gets the wind doll, but that's about it. There's no worthwhile water or wind otherwise right now, at least not one that doesn't take too much room. Shaddoll Nimble will be a really cute casual deck, though. Yemachu
"Elder God Noden" also seems viable; but you need to run "Instant Fusion" (which can be used for some other attributes, as well as for "El Shaddoll Winda"). Or an option which stops your opponent's Backrow for the remainder of the turn: "Blizzard Princess". Since most "Shaddoll" monsters are Spellcaster-Type monsters, it can be Tribute Summoned with just 1 Tribute. You are also somewhat less reliant on Special Summoning for a high ATK monster. With "King of the Swamp" you can search your Deck for "Polymerization", to fill in for "Shaddoll Fusion" if it has been negated by "Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell" (or you are not holding it yet). The only downside is that if you search "Polymerization" with its effect, you are not holding it anymore; and can thus not be used as Fusion Material. "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" / "Elemental HERO Ice" / "Elemental HERO Ocean" in an "Elemental HERO" hybrid Deck. "Elemental HERO Blazeman" can search for "Polymerization", be used as a Fusion Material for "El Shaddoll Grysta", or alter its attribute (as well as ATK and DEF) by sending an "Elemental HERO" monster from the Deck to the Graveyard ("Elemental HERO Shadow Mist" perhaps). Speaking of which, attribute altering cards can also work. The only downside to them is that they require to be on the field to be treated as being a different attribute, or to get an attribute in the first place ("Quantum Cat", "Swamp Mirrorer"). Blake
Pretty sure we aren't talking OCG here, because Noden's a given if you're in OCG Land...
Yemachu
Pretty sure we aren't talking OCG here, because Noden's a given if you're in OCG Land... Noboby had explicitly stated that we are limited to TCG only cards. And then there still is the point that "Elder God Noden" does not work all that well with "Shaddoll Fusion". It is in the Extra Deck most of the time (or in the Graveyard); and therefore there are not many oppertunities to use it for a Fusion Summon. So it might actually not be such a good card for this purpose after all... Now for a rather obscure card in this deck: "Gishki Mollusk". If you use it as a Fusion Material (or send it to the Graveyard by any card effect for that matter), you get to rearrange the top 3 cards of your Deck. It also has an acceptable 1700 ATK. Or if you want to reduce the ATK of an opposing monster by 500: "Needle Sunfish"
