Goose
Sorta related to the clothes thread. Discuss the look of watches - what you like and dont like for what occasions -, the need for watches in the modern era, automatic versus whatever the alternative is, and other such watch things. Thar
Itchy, clunky, and digs into my skin. No thanks. I'll stick with my phone and whatever clock I can see.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
When I worked at Walmart outside, I used a watch, cause phones weren't allowed....well more like I didn't have one. But other than that, they can look nice but I generally don't care much for them. Had a friend who collected them though, pretty nice looking some of them. Aix
Used to wear a digital waterproof one. Now, I just use my phone.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
More or less use one for keeping track of time, especially in class (since I have a couple instructors who are anal about not using phones in class, even to check time). I use digital because easier to read. (They're $15/20 ones from Walmart, so nothing fancy) Nowadays, I just use phone since I can't remember where my other two watches are at home. Rapidfire
If I ever wear a watch it's as an accessory to my outfit. I usually buy a brand one since they tend to look better, and since I know how to shop so I get it for like 20 bucks.
Tentacruel
I think that applies to most people. With phones there's little use for watches to tell time. OT: Don't own one now. Maybe even the future if I stop being broke.
Brinolovania
They're pretty pointless now with phones and everything, but they can make you look spiffy as hell if you do it right.

Wahrheit
I wear a titanium watch with an un-numbered face and black backing. The hour markings glow subtly in the dark when viewed directly. It has a slightly raised section above the date indicator that magnifies it. There is a "dive timer" ring that can be twisted as is necessary. It fits very well, it's incredibly durable, and more useful than I ever could have respected. It also communicates and commands power and respect nonverbally, and I've had compliments on it from professors.
Cin
Not a fan of fancy watches, mine is the same simple watch I've had for 5+ years only just replaced the leather strap for another one. Perfect for work. I do have a Death Note themed one with Date on that has large face, but with a simple leather watch strap.
Madsen
got some relatively cheap ass one, looks nice enough and serves it's purpose so i love it and yeah, it does look snazzy and shit, i feel like watches are really lovely additions to outfits
Yemachu
Often wear a black digital (waterproof) watch; it displays the current time, day of week, day of month and month the month itself (if you press one of the buttons). It has some more features, but I barely use them. Also it 'bleeps' when you press any of its buttons, other than the one that turns on its light; not really a fan of this feature. Eventhough my watch is prone to show the time that it is yet to come, I rather use it than my phone: I only need to look at my wrist. My phone on the other hand, requires me to get it out of my pocket, take it out of its sleeve and turning it 'on' (the reverse to put it back). Lunar Origins
As Wahrheit said, great watches convey power. Personally? I'm not that fond of watches, but I do have a timepiece that my Grandfather gave me, engraved with my name. I'm planning on getting it re-engraved soon, obviously, but it always makes me feel a bit better about myself when I have it on my person.

Shradow
I have a replica State Alchemist pocket watch, that's pretty sweet. I've also gotten some nice watches as gifts, though I rarely wear them. Sometimes, though, you just gotta wear two watches.

A watch with multiple hands, different from any regular watch, it needs a caption to show interest in it?

L0SS
I've got one of those retro silver Casio watches. It looks cool, and goes with anything I choose to wear. Picked it up for £25, so it isn't expensive or anything.
Βyakuya
I just have a moderately expensive black & orange analog Casio watch. Any simple watch can do, but I rather prefer the analog ones, which can allow some visual look into time, and is much more stylistic and worth the money. Rather, it's worth getting watches anyway cause I ain't gonna pull my phone out of my thin pocket to tell the time like an archaic pocketwatch. Fusion X. Denver
I've worn watches before, but nothing recent or for too long, so they're not for me. But I always do appreciate a good-looking watch when someone wears it.
