TCG name is Qliphort Monolith, for those interested.

It also did this for the lore:
The second section however is an Atbash Cipher in Spanish:
Cipher: Hv kilsryv vo xlmgzxgl xlm vo Ziylo Hztizwl. Vo Uoztvol sz hrwl oryvizwl.
Spanish: Se prohibe el contacto con el Arbol Sagrado. el Flagelo ha sido liberado.

English: Contact with the Sacred Tree is forbidden. The Scourge has been unleashed.

The Naturia Tree and Infernoids/Qilorts.

 screwed over by the Infernoids.

I would say its an even match. They have two beings who defeated an evil Goddess, then became Goddesses themselves, a bunch of dragons, necromancers, plant people, animal tamers, sorcerers who can use the power of the dead, a race of warriors created by one of the two Goddesses, and maybe even an army of zombie demon dolls.

Plus take into account everything that those who survived from the previous arcs have endured already. We know that Reeze, Kamui, Emilia, Avance, Roach, Leodrake, Sombres, and Kercyion are all still alive.

Two of these off Disk, plus the 300 boost from a Disk or Carrier in the Pendulum Zone, add up to over 8000 damage. This means you can use Stormforth without worrying about the need to Pendulum Summon for the kill.

It's not ideal to run 3 Assembler in the main, unless you play the Deck Azneyes style. You usually only run 1 at most. Maybe Stormforth as a tech, but there are better options and honestly, why NOT Pendulum Summon? Is Trifortresstops and Gorz that much of an issue?

You only need 2 Assembler to OTK.

Stormforth is non-targeting removal that lets you generate an extra Tribute when Saqliphort is unavailable, and you won't always have both Pendulum Scales up.

More than 1 Monolith sounds like a really mediocre idea, they really clog and it's not an essential scale like Scout is. But yeah, Stormforth is actually damn sexy in Qliphs, it clears the field for a Disk lethal.

It should also be noted that in the Mirror Match, you won't get that extra 300, which could be crucial if your opponent runs Towers or has their own 3100 ATK Shell out. That's why most players preferably leave the Monolith on board

With Monolith, I've actually tested the deck without Scout, but with Front Observer and Soul Turnover for Hoban style draw power, and... the deck still functions! Scout can go to 0 guys!

Though seriously, if you use this and Scout as your scale, it's on the same level of win-moar as Towers.

1. "Win-moar" is a really stupid term. It implies we would want to "win-less" when it's possible, when it's clearly not true.

2. Rest is wrong as well, since Scout fetches only Qliphs, while this lets you draw into additional Skill Drains or more control card.

3. This is searchable and isn't dead in hand since it's a perfect compliment to Scout's scale, while Towers is utterly dead most of the time.

It's not really that Towers is dead, because he's not hard to put out on the board at all (Saqlifice, Pendulum summoning, the field Spell even), and it's not like you're running three.

Towers is bad because it takes 2/3 tributes that would typically be finishing the game then and there for something that can easily die in the matchup and doesn't OTK like Disk.

I dunno, I think the extra 300 boost that the other scale guy gives you is really nice - and I always seem to use a summoner's art or tool itself to search this, then have the tool get mst'd at some point and just think "well that was a waste". Should I not be searching this, instead just drawing it or summoning with disk?

It just hasn't been as amazing for me as I thought it'd be - still good, definitely not a 3-of.
