New Jersey Teen Girl dresses as Hitler and tweets anti-semitic comments

Can we seriously stop with the state generalizations?

I could probably post something, recent, of something happening in each state where they could compete. It means nothing for the overall state, and it is like comparing a single deed to the whole world. Just not so large in scale, but same in theory.

I wouldn't think much of this of this if it weren't for the last image, really. Go ahead and dress up like Hitler, as it is really nothing. It is what you do and how you act in costume that would piss me the fuck off.

I was gonna say pretty much this so just quoting to say, good job you.

And also, things like this are stupid, but unless it looks like it could get harmful, charging her with something doesn't make too much sense.

Meaning that they should just look into it for now.

Do I get a cookie?

Also, I honestly do not find anything wrong with what she is doing. Yes, she's hating on Jews to stir up controversy, but that's just it. She's only doing it to be an attention whore.

In this case, while the girl's comments are extremely offensive and basically mirror that of Hitler himself (minus her actually killing them), she hasn't done anything wrong.

Though based on the article, she did mention wanting to run over people with her car; so that might raise some alarms.

Again, unless she actually does something illegal (like committing the Holocaust 2.0 or whatever you wish to call this), can't really charge her.

I would hope that her father sets some common sense into her, saying that anti-Semitism is NOT acceptable + keeping tabs on what she does.

---

Dressing up as the dictator is one thing and probably some childhood phase, but in terms of these sorts of threats, whether it is legitimate or just joking around, it shouldn't be taken lightly.

Would the reaction be the same if some people in the USA decided to joke about going on a killing spree against the Japanese for what they did at the start of World War 2?

(The circumstances might be different, but the idea is still the same; these sorts of things shouldn't be taken lightly)

Look at this way, we already have terrorist attacks in parts of the globe already; even without a revival of this sort of thing.

In spite of what the article says to the contrary it seems like she's getting special treatment as the daughter of a State Trooper, which would be unfortunate if it's the case, but corruption is hardly new to New Jersey. It's hard to know whether she actually feels that way or is exhibiting self-destructive behaviour in despair of having to grow up under a Nazi State Trooper father. In either case, I would disagree that her words don't constitute a credible threat. If the vocalization of an urge to murder a group of people based on religion isn't threatening then I don't know what is.

I'll say this much for her, she has incredible hair (another reminder of why not to go for looks, kids.)

Freedom of speech. Quit whinin'! lol

I could go on for ages about freedom of speech but whilst there are a lot of things people have the right to say there are quite a few things people should have the responsibility not to say.

This is pretty stupid and my bet is the girl is just too dumb to quite realise the implications of what she is saying. We're getting to a time now where most of the people who were around at that time are dying off and the memories are starting to fade, which means we get stuff like this happening which, while I don't think it's threatening or criminal, is distasteful in the extreme. This is a one-off thing and I wouldn't make any generalisation about New Jersey (I'm English anyway, I don't know of any stereotypes about New Jersey) or people as a whole unless this sort of thing happens more often, which might suggest that children are not being educated enough about the effects of the holocaust.

Dat doodled cut-out taped-on swastika.

Yes yes, I know, Hitler was evil, killed millions of Jews, bla bla bla we've all heard it all and it makes sense why we say it, but if this article says anything, it's that she's only trying to provoke people, and as predictable as people are, let alone the internet, she succeeded. I say just ignore it and let the world burn, cause if we're gonna let some Jersey girl piss us off for something that happened 70 years ago, then we might as well just have the right to kill whoever does this shit.
