If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 1". If you control another "Yosenju" monster: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand.

If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 2". This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is halved. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand.

If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 3". When another "Yosenju" monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 "Yosenju" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 3". You can only use this effect of "Yosenju Kama 3" once per turn. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand.

Well, heres our name changes for the Kamam Kyodai.

Harpie Lady 1, 2 and 3 are by now classics so I thought people will appreciate the throwback. I mean, no one calls out THEM for being silly.

And honestly, there wasn't many other ways to do it.

Yeah, but the names before were less practical and more cool. I appreciate that its more practical this way.

Thought that was because everyone was upset over not being able to play 3 of them each due to the name thing.

I'd rather these than looking like an idiot when trying to pronounce the names correctly or confusing them.

imo "Daibak" over "Daibakaze" was sort of unnecessary though.

I don't mind the name changes because I found the original names so similar as to be confusing. Not that I thought they had the same name, but that I couldn't tell at a glance (at names) which one did which. But now I can tell that 1 bounces a card, 2 hits directly for half damage, and 3 searches Yosenju when other Yosenju deals damage.

But that's just me.

It wasn't that difficult.

I always thought of it like this.

Kamamitachi, which sounds like mommy-tachi, has the tutoring effect. As a mom would "Tutor" their childrens.

Kamanitahci, which has Man in the name, signafiying that a man goes directly for what he wants. (Direct attack effect)

Kamaitachi, which has Mai in it, has  the opposite of mine because it sends away.

Wait, they're all just straight up Secret Rare? Damn son.

They're not worth all that much because there's massive demand for the set from people looking for Nekroz, who are left with tons of these to shift.

The deck is actually really good. It can get massive advantage pretty easily and the counter trap is really really good at putting plays together. It has a wincon in the big level 7 you can pendulum summon, as well as obviously being able to make rank 4s in a pinch such as Chidori, Delteros into Diamond and obv stuff like Exciton. It's also able to play a decent amount of backrow, particularly Vanity's which is great as you can keep the level 4 pendulums out which make your counter traps live and stop you losing if you go for Vanity's. It can't really compete with Nekroz or Qliphs (but it's not far off), but it's more than just "fun to play"

What the hell is a Yosenju Kama?

If you're arguing that "Kama" is a nonsensical term (opposed to kamaitachi, which is actually a definable thing), that wasn't the point of what Klavier said: The names as they are now are easier to distinguish and pronounce, from the viewpoint of western people who probably have never heard of a kamaitachi. But those who have and understand the concept can at least see where the name is derived from.

Kama 1, Kama 2, Kama 3 vs Kamaitachi, Kamanitachi, and Kamamitachi or whatever the last one is. Those names alone are much harder for people to easily distinguish, say, or SPELL.
