How You Make Tierra In Infernoids [Void Dream]

Recommended Posts

Uses swift scarecrow or battle fader or nekroz valk, next turn snatch steal.
I think that this deck still won't be too godlike, I mean I don't think it will be tier 0.

snatch steal against a field of nehemoth and co with maybe a set void seer is kind of a bad idea.

it won't be T0 of course. Deck still has many potential to brick after all.

It'll be quite strong definitely.

Now that I think about it, with the Meta being Qliphort and Nekroz, (the latter of which nearly wiped BA off the map, and Shaddolls are quickly losing ground) neither of which actually leave an extra deck monster on the field, the value of this card significantly drops. As it sits right now, its only real use is the first effect, with the second effect being a back up on a "if your opponent does X".

This card also has another weakness. Infernoids are like Skill Drain. In a format where they become popular is the time where they stop being used, because this card (which sets them up) is near useless in the mirror.

Ideally, it may be good in the future, but not right now. Although, this is all conjecture on if Nekroz and Qliphorts are still the meta by the time the TCG gets CORE. And I don't see why they wouldn't aside from the banlist changes, since CROS doesn't contain anything threatening unless they decide to give BA Anti-Nekroz options.

So, this is another case of terrible design meets meh impact? Konami, bad policy.

Pretty much yeah.

The design is clearly due to power creep, and it is absolutely not healthy. As of now, the impact however is minimal, but that WILL change (eventually, as Meta always shifts)
