Flash Flyer - Sakura
Since Klav's discussing his teammate who just got outclassed as of CROS, it's only fair I bring this guy up. So yeah, discuss. And I suppose the U.A. trend's going to stay around for a while, which I personally don't mind. (In fact, I rather enjoy it)
vla1ne
Do you mean the naming scheme on here or the fact that konami won't give us a 2nd level 4? or both?either way, blockbacker is one of the best disruption cards i've ever seen. great defense, amazing ability and hilarious interactions with Turnover Tactics. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Basically the name change thing / hype on the new CROS things. But yeah, partly on Konami not giving us another Level 4 and under. Seriously, Signing Deal makes the Deck a lot less cloggy, but it's still prone to bricking if you don't get RoTA/Signing (or Midfielder himself out) OR lucky Stormforths. --- But indeed, Blockbacker is good at what he does. Solid wall; punishes the opponent if they dare to Special Summon (effect negation is still cool) and yeah Turnover makes it even more hilarious. I've had quite a bit of fun negating the opponent's 'mons with this out.
vla1ne
If i was reading it correctly, turnover pretty much clears your opponents field if all they have are extra deck monsters correct? pretty sure i'm right on it, but if not, i'd feel horrible about some of the matches i won irl.on topic though, the low atk kind of saddens me since at level 7 at least 2200 ATK would be more usable. but even so, it's not like he'll see ATK mode often enough for it to matter. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yeah, Turnover screws the opponent over if they run an ED, so you're fine. U.As generally don't run ED, so if anything, you can basically cycle your monsters out, and the opponent is left without a field. As for Blockbacker's low ATK for a Level 7; yeah he's more for defensive purposes. Personally, I only use him to attack if I get enough boosts from Stadium, or I have a clear field to wipe the opponent's LP down. Otherwise, he stays in Defense Position and just blocks stuff. You clearly know nothing about football. Why would a linebacker be running with the ball? Neeeeeeerrrrrd.
Atypical-Abbie
It's worth running at 1, since Turnover Tactics works well with this card. That said, just Summoning it for a defensive play when you don't have Goalkeeper is also pretty nice, especially since the negation is forever. 玄魔の王
It's just too bad Stadium doesn't boost DEF or this guy would be almost immovable.

Toffee.
It's just too bad Stadium doesn't boost DEF or this guy would be almost immovable.Playing in a stadium like that requires you to go on the offense, while your opponent typically goes on the defense. It's also why some of the UAs are better in the opponent's turn, because you are effectively taking turns on who is in what position.Which is how sport games typically go. It's all one big game that requires a team performance from everyone, to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.
