Well, what's the difference? What makes popping and floating interesting that makes attacking twice boring?

Because a spell that does one thing and only one thing is more interesting than an xyz that has 3 interactions?

This is all opinion-based. For someone who consider attacking to be the most interesting part of yugioh a double attacker may be very interesting indeed.

Oh, so for you "interesting" indeed means "has a crapton of text". Oh, well.

Yep and I won't deny it.

I realised that ages ago but I failed to comprehend how you could find 1 line text cards interesting.

Since when is interesting an objective measure to discuss cards?

Like, you called the archetype trash on the basis that the support was 'dull and boring' earlier (Or at least implied as much). You made a statement about the decks rough power level based around subjective terms that have nothing to do with how it plays out.

It's fine to think cards are boring, but it's no fine to immediately call them trashy as a result. Because one is an opinion, and one is trying to use your opinion as an objective basis. (And you do the second a lot).

Like Christ, it doesn't do anything other than cause drama because it makes you look like a rather immature person, and a relatively shitty poster.

OT: Cards are aight. Like, Briefcase being searchable is amazing given, whilst slow, it's incredibly powerful removal in theory. Of course, given I haven't played this game in like a year, I can't really make judgments on this shit. I mostly just turned up to post the first bit.

I'm loving the irony of you calling me a shitty poster after you just tried to revive a discussion in an over dramatic way when it had already ended in both parties at an understanding of what the other one meant. Like, Christ, talk about pointless posting.

Didn't read like that to me. It just read like it was waiting for Klav's response but whatever. Likewise overly dramatic would've been me calling you out for it in the status bar.

And my post had no more point to it than any post on an online forum, beyond any value I thought deemed it nessicary to post. So to you pointless, to me not.

I'm not trying to be a good poster on this site, or really be relevant to the discussion. If I was, I'd probably have had a better on Topic point than I did. But hey, small difference.

I was posting with the sole intention of pointing out that for someone who insists on getting into debates about card strength and relative balance (Or at least that's every meaningful post I've seen you make), you are really awful at forming objective arguments, and it's kinda painful to watch. And I think you would benefit from stepping back a little, and looking at cards a little bit more objectively. You aren't the only person on YCM to do this, you just happen to be a new enough member that I think it'll make a difference.

So really, I'm just trying to make you be a little bit better as an active member of the TCG community, thus why I phrased it diplomatically and not in the simplest terms that came to my mind. Make it into whatever drama you want, I've said my bit.

Don't forget it turns the synchro it summons into a toon

That would be a hilarious card. From the name to the effect.

Anyway, Rollback can win games; combo it with that Toon that makes the opponent discard cards, too. Love it.

Toons might be legit now.

They need yet another substitute for Toon World if they wish to turn meta, though. Either that, or something to retrieve/protect their Toon cards other than Number 66. Wasn't there a piece of advertising which implied there might be more Toon support coming outside CPD1 and CORE?

Yes. Bland.
Because all of the cards are SO obviously interesting.
I mean, look at them. Attack twice. Boring.
Literally just a burn. Boring.
Bottomless that shuffles instead. Mildly interesting but still pretty straightforward.

Ok.?

On topic, these are really good... maybe too good

Am I the only one here that's intimidated by how Rollback will interact with Toon Gemini Elf? Having a direct-attacking Don Zaloog with sizeable ATK is already one thing, but seeing it hit twice in battle might be painful to experience.

I agree with this, but it still can't attack during the turn it is summoned, which still matters

isn't there also a toon masked sorcerer? it has lower atk if i recall, but it nets you a draw for every direct hit as well.
