Performapal Monkeyboard and Guiturtle (ANIME)

Recommended Posts

Entire Effects are not confirmed, but these are some pretty unique and new pendulums used by Yuya in the anime.

Damn, that's three good-ish or better p-pals in a day.

Though Monkey might put Skullcrobat out of a job because normal summon ffs.

Skullcrobat is still a 3100 summonable by most scales in your Deck while Monkey seems like it's an awkward level to PS out.

Is there not room for both?

But yeah, these guys are awesome.

2-3 Friendonkey (well, at least for now)

3 P-Wizard

3 Lizardraw

3 Lacoodown (low scale level 4 is important)

2-3 Whip Snake (out snake ftw)

2-3 Silver Claw (pumping up your guys is actually really important to winning games easily, though I guess Skull could take its slot.)

3 Dragoknight Luster Pendulum (Which conflicts with joker)

2 Summonk

2~ tech P-Pal slots

Not sure if the turtle's worth it, even, just because Lizardraw is more versatile and adds the same draws to the deck, and the monster slots are really tight. I guess Pendulum could go, but he's a bro.

3100? what am I missing? Because Silver Claw's one of the first on the to-go list, and Wizard's going to be a less common scale between Lacoodown and Monkey.

From my outside perspective, I'd probably consider trying both in a build.

Oh, I'll try both for sure, but in theory it seems like Monkey edges Joker out.

Then again, Joker searches monkey...

this deck just got clusterfucky as all hell

If your deck consistently searches anyway, Wizard becomes far more of a versatility tool than a necessity to PS out. The 1000 boost kills people really quickly and not a lot of decks have access to constantly recurring 3100 guys. I think Wizard will probably be one of the more optimal scales for that reason since damage of that caliber is still huge damage, though it's flexible in useage obviously.

The thing is, you do try to put it on the scale, but it just doesn't happen because it's too valuable a monster... And that's BEFORE we factor in the low scale that, at present, searches 1 P-Pal per turn.

So if Monkey IS a thing that happens remotely close to this, Wizard won't be seeing the scale... ever, really.

Though, I guess Lacoodown gets worse, and the deck gets more streamlined in general, but that makes me feel like Luster Pendulum gets worse, and I feel like that would be removing versatility from the deck, for more in-theme cards, albeit ones that seem very good atm.

IF  they would remain the way they currently are ... place monkey, search joker, normal joker, search turtle, place it and draw (or if you have one more joker search plizazrd, use his efect to draw and place joker II), if you open with joker you can normal it, search monkey, use it to search another joker and place a 1-8 pendulum zone, which can search one card per turn ...

The way they currently are seems indeed too powerful.

I mean, why would you PURPOSELY put Joker in the P-zone? If you have to/have an odd-eyes fetish, sure, but it's not really a card you want to set as a scale considering it offers you nothing but a scale that's overkill and a restriction. Lizardraw/Guiturtle/Silver Claw/etc. are all better Pendulum Scales.

IF you concentrate on odd-eyes and magicians as well, then it is worth it, however otherwise you could always place lizarddraw or guiturtle as well ...

Looking at the numbers for DOCS, it Seems likely that these are in there, instead of put off for a pack.

Yuzu doesn't appear to be doing much soon, and there are 2-3 slots between Yuya and Gongenzaka, with no new magicians in sight for DOCS.

Monkey and Turtle are obviously gonna get nerfed in their IRL versions.

Monkey is basically a Scout and Turtle is a better Lizardraw.

I don't know. Monkey is far weaker than scout, as scout searches any qli card and scout has a much larger scale. Turtle is arguably weaker than lizardraw. Although they could be nerfed.
