Blake
Red Wyvern Fire Dragon / Synchro / Effect LV6 2400/2000 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters (1) Once, during either player’s turn, while this Synchro Summoned card is face-up on the field, if there are monsters on the field whose ATK is higher than this card’s ATK: You can activate this effect; destroy the monster with the highest ATK on the field (you choice, if tied). Scar-Red Cocoon Trap Normal (1) Target 1 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster you control; equip this card to that target you control. (2) If the monster equipped by this effect battles an opponent’s monster, negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent controls until the end of the Damage Step. (3) During the End Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard and was sent there during this turn: You can target 1 “Red Dragon Archfiend” in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. Wyvern is good, cocoon is adorable
evilfusion
Cocoon only works with actual Red Dragon Archfiend? Not "Red Dragon Archfiend" monsters? If so, it only works with the original and Scarright. Then again, I think the OCG is reprinting RDA in that pack, so...it kind of makes sense. Wyvern seems solid enough. 玄魔の王
Wyvern received about as much of a buff as I expected, and it doesn't target, so that's good. Cocoon technically works with Scar-Right, but more important is the one-sided Skill Drain.
Slinky
Wyvern is meh, since its not even once per turn. it's once period.

Blake
Wyvern is meh, since its not even once per turn. it's once period. It's also free SS2 removal for Level 6, which it needs. Psyhemuth and Nothung are fine, but they require battle.
White Void
Also, it doesn't target which is always a nice plus.
~British Soul~
Wyvern doesn't target? Cool. I don't even mind if it only does it once, the fact that it has SS2 non-targeted removal is good enough for me.
The Highlander
Wyvern is meh, since its not even once per turn. it's once period.Oh no, why is it not a multiple per turn raigeki on command which instantly makes itself immune to both battles and effects for the next few turns ... jokes aside this monster is actually quite useful, unlike psyhemuth it does not need a battle, so construct and catastor like effects are not usable on it unless they are weaker, but slight weaknesses are the reason why you play backrow. This monster is completely generic (and thus absurdly easy to summon) and can once blow up a strong monster with 2.4k body, which means not only (as above mentioned) does it not need battle, but if you use it as further synchro material you get to blow up a strong monster, otherwise you get a somewhat alright body and a chainable destruction to make sure bottomless etc. do not prevent you from removing a potential threat. In all honesty there is not much to say about this card, except that it is a great addition to the pool of generic synchros. Malacoda-Eviltail
I know I may seem silly for saying this but...Why not equip Red Cocoon TO Red Wyvern?
Dog King
Wyvern works during opponents turn and doesnt target which makes it pretty cool
Althemia
Wyvern is a ridiculous Level 6 option. Level 6 doesn't actually have many effects that can activate during your opponent's turn and disrupt them outside of Psyhemuth, but even that is truly questionable on whether that is actually disruptive enough. Definitely one of the best generics that we have.
玄魔の王
Honestly Wyvern's biggest buff is not having to wait until 2+ monsters are biger than it, folloed by being usable on your turn.

玄魔の王
Also, Cocoon's inclusion makes Red Nova being printed in this set that much more likely.
mshends
Red Wyvern is truly amazing, the fact it doesn't target and can active it during your opponent turn is so good, such a shame you can't use it if is not synchro summoned. (But it would be way too good if that restriction is not there)
Toffee.
Interesting rework of Wyvern.Cacoon is silly
Valkyrus
Red Wyvern is amazing. Best level 6 synchro right now even. Cocoon is solid too. Now with all this resonator and RDA support, what non-Tuners do you even use? I tried making a neo new resonator deck on Salvation but I just couldn't figure out what non-Tuners to use..(or are the new Resonators still not viable enough as an engine?) Alastar Rainford
I have seen multiple decks use Risebell with Red Resonator for lvl 5-8 synchro plays. Stygin also looks like a good one to help special Resonators in hand. I feel kinda sad Wyvern isn't dark
