This seems underwhelming given the wait.

I mean I know the format doesn't technically need massive amounts of addressing, but after all the wait I was expecting something much more interesting.

Glad to see Chain is finally burning the hellfire from which it was forged.

EDIT; Underwhelming =/= bad I should clarify. A good list can still feel underwhelming.

And then Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier blanketed the world in ice; wiping out every tribe and destroying everything.

And so, history will repeat itself. Prepare for every meta deck to tech Unknown Synchron, Glow-Up Bulb, or any other good, generic tuner you can think of. Winter's coming.

Welcome to Clownblade Seraph, the $2000 Tier 0 Deck led by a YCS Prize card. Yeah, might have to take a break in August depending on how unbearable it is to watch. The rest though is interesting, though kinda wish they hit BA so Tour Guide to 2 could be a thing. Not sure how I feel. On one hand, we won't have a totally dead meta like the supposed list did. On the other, a lot of issues seem like they will be a thing. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Also since Nekroz is dead at Worlds now, what will be the top Deck then?

Clownblade was never going to be a tier 0 deck, and Minerva isn't nearly a replacement for Chain in that deck.

Limited:

Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

But why

Otherwise, list is very...boring. It moves stuff up that has no reason being at 1 (Except Dragoons wtf) And hits like...3 things. Not sure how much those 3 things change stuff (Except Djinn because no more stupid) so...

Mostly anticipating stacks. It happened during the time Crush Card was a prize card, and I expect no less from Minerva. I could be wrong, hence how I said wait and see, but it just seems really frisky with the banning of Chain going around

was shurit ran at 3 in all competative decks?

It was always run at more than 1, a lot of the time at 3, from what I know. Shurit to 1 is a very definite and major hit to Nekroz, but it doesn't make it unplayable, which is fine with me.

Also, I'm predicting Denko Dolls to be the new best deck. The other good decks other than Nekroz are Qli, BA and Tellar. Denko is good against all of them.

EDIT: Ritual Beast and Yosenju will be good as well, which is even more justification for Denko.

RIP Clownblades. Looks like I'm gonna have to run crap like Phoenix Wing Blast to ease the pain. That or wait patiently for Minerva to ever come to the YGO layman...

Needless to say, this list does seems a bit underwhelming after all that wait. At least most builds can tech out inconsistent Djinn Locks. Even though Nekroz loses their most stupid cripple tool, they are still pretty damn consistent if they can play with 1 Shurit carefully. And with Satellars, BA, and Shaddolls not being hit either, the meta is not really going to change too much, except for the fact that a lot of the current meta decks have somewhat equal advantages since nothing radical has changed with Unicore, Valk, or Trish.
