GarlandChaos
It's not really useful in anything that's currently topping as far as I know, but I'm bringing this up for one reason in particular. Does the first effect count as discarding? Or is it just sending to the grave? If it's the former, Dark Worlds, Fabled, etc, could benefit from it. But if it's the latter, this card still won't see much use, I suppose. Discuss.

Blake
even if it said discard it still wouldnt work with dark worldsDWs don't work off costs you derp.the first part isn't a cost, you canlt force the opp to playa cost lile that As such, it qould work if it discarded, as DW do not miss timing. Toffee.
Actually, if it DID say Discard, wouldn't DWs miss the timing? I mean, Dw's are "When... you can", while This card ditches stuff THEN draws stuff. It's why DW stuff typically has effect-discard being the last thing. evilfusion
wut did you not read my post correctly? That's because your post was so wrong, the only way it makes sense is if we assume you meant something else. In this case, thinking the sending was a cost (so that if it said "discard", it wouldn't work with Dark Worlds). But since it's not a cost, if it said "discard", it WOULD work with Dark Worlds. Dark Worlds are mandatory Trigger Effects. They cannot miss timing. Ever. The only optional parts of their effects are if they were discarded by an opponent's card effect, such as Goldd nuking 2 cards. But those are a subsection of the mandatory part of the effect. Resident Fascist
Behold the blatant power of Problem Solving Card Text and Konami's terrible design creating nonbos all over the place. As for the card itself, it's one of those things that would honestly be good in any other game but this game has so many good grave control options to not require a card that lets you fix your opponent's hand for them. evilfusion
The TCG has more or less done away with "When" effects in PSCT, probably because of how confusing it is.

Well I mean, Snoww is actually the most legitimately confusing card I've ever read. It's basically like old pre-Oracle Magic cards that essentially have no text any more because they're so badly written no one can make sense of it. Better filter exists (Ie: Pot of Duality, Upstart Goblin, Stratos effects, Foolish for Graveyard stuff etc) and also the fact the opponent gets the effect for free doesn't exactly help this card's case, either. Didn't phrase that at all like the way I was thinking, meant to include decks that want certain stuff in the grave which doesn't do anything from the hand. If your opponent only has 2 or 3 cards in hand it can also potentially disrupt their plans but that's fairly unlikely to work out.

For wanting specific things in Grave, most archetypes now have that and Foolish exists. For wanting cards en masse, there's the Lightsworn engine. This replaces the things you don't want with hopefully things you do want, while outside of Solar Recharge the LS engines purely dump things. Idk, I just used to use it an attempted Venominnaga deck where all you wanted was Limit Reverse and Rise of the Snake Deity.

In decks with Mathematician you can also run Felis for more mills, a level 7 Synchro or just have Mathematician mill what you want from the deck. Also replaces itself. CLG Klavier
something something occasionally used in OCG to make trish liveITT: OCG is any relevant I feel like main reason this isn't a thing is that it's double-sided. Giving your opponent potential filtering is not good.
