Maeriberii Haan
1 Tuner + 1 non-tuner monsterOnce per turn during either player's turn, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls; change its Battle Position. When this card declares an attack, you can banish 1 monster in your opponent's graveyard; this card gains 200 ATK during the damage calculation. Something reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly simple for today's gaiden edition. Originally had the second effect be a costed effect negation whenever something has its battle position changed, but figured that a fiendish chain effect/L1T on a level 6 synchro would be too much, so I guess I'll have it have grave disruption instead. Though maybe it needs some buff. Discuss?
mitchermitcher
Wow, it really is simple. I can remove something from the opponent's grave to run over 2500 ATK stuff, it's nice and sadly I probably wouldn't remove something for it unless grave disruption is that good of an effect in today's metagame. Either way, I really, really like this one. Maybe allow her to change a monster's battle position permanently, until it is removed from the field. Darj
Where is #10?Anyway, the only change I can think of at the moment is turning the banish of the second effect into part of the effect, possibly target as well. That way, at least the opponent gets the chance of negating this card to protect its grave. That aside, the card looks great. Basically a Synchro6 Whipsnake with better stats, or a quick effect Burei (without the summoning effect, obviously), and that should be annoying enough. Maeriberii Haan
...funk I mislabeled Sanae's thread. Brb fixing. idk about changing permanently tbh. It won't reallly have that much effect with how fleeting monsters are atm. I'll probably make the banish an effect instead of a cost, but originally it was like that since idk whether it'd be good enough.
Darj
Well, it's a Whipsnake packed with graveyard disruption. It's no Nothung or Red Wyvern but it should be good enough in my opinion, since it offers the Syncho6 pool a tool to disrupt the opponent's grave; think of it as a Rhapsody for Synchro6s. Also with that first effect it should do a good job at blocking the opponent from attacking.
Toffee.
A generic version of Junk Gardna, that actually does something- Given the fact that Junk Gardna itself is rather obnoxious, This being a more playable version of it is quite nice. You could be pro and give the 1st effect a reasonable cost, and let it switch monsters to Face-down defense position; Gives it more of funk-over-the-opponent's-moves effect, while still being on par with the one it has now. I mean... You did say it was a Fiendish Chain at some point, so why not make it similar?
Maeriberii Haan
Basically the old one has discard 1 or banish 1 monster in grave when a monster changes their position to negate its effect, rather than the banish eff. But that makes this card a mini fiendish and idk if that's fine. Turning things face-down on the other hand didn't feel like it'd fit the flavor I am going with this. Flash Flyer - Sakura
As a whole, card is nice and another generic 6, with decent stats.Plus, it's a Fish, which we don't have too many of anyway. (Come to think of it, I don't think there exists any right now) Indeed, changing battle positions is nice and hitting the Graveyard is nice.Agreed with Voltex that you can probably have it target, so opponent can do something about their Graveyard, but otherwise it should be fine. (Though, given the fact that the Graveyard is commonly used often nowadays [bar Pendulum stuff], it's certainly going to mess up enough Decks to warrant some usage otherwise) I'm going to assume the stat boost here is permanent when it does; if it is, I'm a bit iffy on it getting benefits for killing the opponent's resources, but given that it'll take a while, I suppose it'd be alright as-is. In any case, it has the capacity to mess up Graveyard plays and soften up monsters / block attacks for a while, and that should be enough incentive to consider this for a slot.
