Fusion X. Denver
I've been bogged down with negative feelings due to work and other personal issues lately and I'm trying out ways to get out of my funk. So I'm curious about what YCM does when they're feeling down?(can interpret that as what you do when you're sad and/or how you try to deal and cheer yourself up)
Aerion Brightflame
Go for a walk, spend times with friends, put on music in my head set and let it flow through me and my thoughts fade to oblivion, watch something engaging. Any of those usually, unless it's an especially bad low.

Cosmo.
I either play Persona (it's a great way to forget about what makes you sad!), listen to music or bake.
~British Soul~
When I'm down, I usually do some drawing whilst listening to music, that or play some games.
Sethera
I usually end up reading or playing video games. Or I curl up in a corner and go to sleep. Singing, dancing, or listening to music can work too. Lately, I've discovered watching funny Let's Plays is a great way to get out of a funk. For more active people, I recommend taking a jog outdoors, preferably somewhere nature-ish. You can also sit on a bench or watch the nearest body of water. There's something incredibly peaceful about doing that.Whichever I do, I usually feel better at the end of it. Makο
But for real, I just tend to wait for it to pass. I don't know about you, but the way that I operate, I can't stay in a funk for too long. For example, right now, I'm in a bit of a funk. I'm not too concerned, because by the time I wake up tomorrow, I'm sure it'll fade. But if I were suggest some things to help, try doing activities that might clear your mind. Take a power nap, go for a walk, go for a drive. Avoid electronics for the most part. Flip a reset switch on your mind.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
It goes one of two ways. 1.) I talk to Toyo, be really stressed or depressed for a few hours, before calming down and being in a generally good mood (she is really good for that)2.) Obsess over self-improvement so that I won't be in the situation in the future. This can be a good thing, as it helps me grow as a human being, but at the same time it can also become manic, and even self-destructive. Of course, things are actually going really well for me these days, so I am quite happy. Not that I got here on my own, of course.

Kyng
I am kinda surprised how few people said sex and/or jack off, or variations there of since it is, literally, a great way to feel better.
Βyakuya
I was recently in some traffic troubles, so I was having the funk a while ago. It's something that can linger and van sometimes cannot be truly escapable, but what I would do is stop my habits and contemplate while listening to music to calm me before I sleep. That or jack off, you get no worries anyway.
Carl
Usually when Paul refuses to talk to me, I make a mask of his face and put it on animals and pretend they're him. It gives me something to do, at least.
Dad
I find the most fun, spirit lifting song or songs that I can, and I put them on a loop. Music has been my go to for a long time, and it will be for a long time.
Fusion X. Denver
I think I'm going to try going on walks. My counselor advised to do that and it seems to work for some of you. With music, I can't listen to peppy, happy music if I'm feeling down. I have to make it match my mood.
