ok this card definitely deserves its own thread now. It's one of the best, if not the best backrow this format (well, it's the best unrestricted single-use backrow) because it's just so incredibly efficient at dealing with Kozmo ships as well as pendulum summons and even if you're not playing a deck it's amazing against paying 1k to spin a summon back to deck is hardly terrible anyway. Awesome card.

I agree, Amazing card. Non-destruction, non-targeting removal. What I'm wondering now is if I should go as far as to main 3 in backrow-focused decks, or stick with 2.

I played 2 in YZ today and was always happy to draw it and never happy not to draw it, so I'm seriously consider bumping it to 3. You eventually get some issues with life point cost but it's just so good that I'm finding it very hard to justify not playing 3.

I love this card.  Pendulum-based Decks absolutely despise having this pulled on them (along with Solemn Notice).  Plus, being able to bounce back an Extra Deck Boss is always amazing.

Though, it's definitely a card to side out against Monarchs in OCG.

This isn't true. Space does not stop effect like notice so you could literally read this card and still trigger Wizard and add back the card that were shuffled.

Oh and now you opponent has 3-5k few-er LP

it's good vs Kozmo I suppose, but sheet in general

Technical play in PePe solves this, Sorceror can hit scales.

Problem with the "Pend for 5" scenario is that you aren't usually going to go for it vs backrow decks unless you've completely removed them all.

Kozmo can dodge this by placing the pilot effect as CL 2

Pend 2 -3 then? You still lose 3K LP and they can still pop sheet for sorcy making your card a neg

Maybe, but m&m's can literally turn this card into a -5k LP for you and basically reset the game for themselves by putting back some mages and pals.

Don't like it TBH

thank god i'm not the only one that doesn't like this card.

i mean seriously guys. it's like an unhealthy obsession at this point. like what is it? at least once a format there's another topic praising the sheet out of this.

On topic now. like Winter said, this can be turned into a negative for you way to easily.

Dark Destroyer will gets his pop effect tho! If it negated the effects then sure, but coupling the cost with Komo's ability to search sheet is eh.

Magicians? Apex tells this card to gtfo

Irrelevant vs Infernoids, shitty VS BA, and not good against yang, you should use the water dragon for your major pushes like a Trishula or Baxia

Now Magespecter MAYBE, but they still put all their sheet back and and can search it all out on a new chain

Even with rafflesia is not a good hole to run

Destroyer is only one of the cards you want to be hitting with this and a monster pop is pretty insignificant compared to a 3k untargetable floater.

You're assuming you actually have Apex, if they don't it's pretty great against them and if they do it baits it out at least.

It's neither irrelevant against Infernoid nor BA because it can put back Dante and stop it getting the add and although it's not amazing against Infernoid putting back stuff like Raiden, Patrulea or Dweller is hardly terrible. It's decent against YZ if they normal summon something they rely on (as I found out today to my disadvantage).

Against Majespecter it basically makes all their spells/traps, or at least one of them dead, which is fairly decent, although I admit Majespecter isn't this card's best matchup.

And to justify why I'm talking about strict TCG when we (possible) get Pepe in 2 months, 2 months for me is 2-3 regionals, a YCS and about 8 locals which is about £200 spent on Yugioh, you'll forgive me for having somewhat of an interest in what the meta is like atm.

Only issues with this card is that it doesn't work on monsters that are summoned from the deck or graveyard where Yang Zings can be a dire problem if they manage to pull a trap immune Synchro out to counter this. That in addition to effects that activate on special summon where they from card effects were special summoned from deck or grave
