Performapal Pendulum Sorceror
Earth/Spellcaster/Pendulum/Effect

Pendulum Effect  If a "Performapal" monster(s) is Pendulum Summoned to your side of the field: All "Performapal" monsters you control gain 1000 ATK until the end of this turn.
Monster Effect  If this card is Special Summoned: You can target up to 2 cards you control; destroy them, and if you do, add "Performapal" monsters with different names from your Deck to your hand, equal to the number of cards destroyed, except "Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer". You can only use this effect of "Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer" once per turn.

An amazing card, and arguably the heart and soul of Performapals. Discuss.

Speak to me as though I know nothing about Performapals: what does this card add to Pepe?

 

The pendulum scales go to the extra so it's almost 2 free searches/2 free extra deck materials, it has a good pendulum effect which sets up OTKs itself, it trigger Plushfire for crazy advantage.

It's Slayer, Juggler and Joker that are the main engine pierces. It's just a lack of understanding of the deck to say that it requires Sorceror to be a threat

 

Pepe already appears to be dominating in TCG

Well the problem is you can't really distinguish between Monkey and Crobat. Hitting sorc puts the deck down faster than hitting both

Limiting Slayer and Wizard would basically kill the Clash Build. Ideally you limit Mascot too to put the deck down.

 

What's ignorant is people thinking that Shock and Chain are the problems with the deck

while not defending any of the three, Chain is definitely an issue.

 

The lack of Chain makes the Mage half much less consistent. Sure, it's powerful as funk, but power without consistency can be conquered. Does it make the listed fair? Nah, but it does make it less dominant.

 

 

Ah, ok.  What would it normally search?

Depends. Deck has a lot of good targets, and builds change things.

Performapal Stamp Turtle (truly not a bad card, though edged out a bit with the advent of good Rank 3s)
 

It gets less relevant and/or more build dependent as you go down, but the idea remains.

Don't wanna get too into this cause sheet always seems to get ugly when we discuss that particular R4nk.

out of these 5 mentioned? Hell no. I wouldn't agree that Shock's objectively not a problem, but in these cases, The three main deck and Chain are by far the more problematic parts.
