Remake a Card

Dunno why it's a surprise. I've posted before using the OCG names for the Savior dragons.

Cestus of Dagla

Spell

Equip

Equip only to a Fairy-Type monster. It gains 500 ATK. If it inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Gain LP equal to the damage inflicted, and search your deck for one Counter Trap card and either add it to your hand or set it. You can banish this card from your GY (quick effect): Once this turn, you do not pay LP or discard cards to activate a Counter Trap card. You can only use this ability of "Cestus of Dagla" once per turn.

Now it supports not just fairies, but my favorite fairy archetype: counter fairies. I made the second effect hard OPT 'cuz it seems pretty strong. Also, any advice on the wording? I feel like that's wrong.

Here's that text fix:

Equip only to a Fairy-Type monster. It gains 500 ATK. If the equipped monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Gain LP equal to the damage inflicted, also either add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand or Set it directly from your Deck. You can banish this card from your GY (Quick Effect): Once this turn, you do not pay LP or discard cards to activate a Counter Trap Card. You can only use this effect of "Cestus of Dagla" once per turn.

Anyway

Black-Winged Dragon

DARK - Level 8 - Dragon/Synchro/Effect - 2800/1600

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

If you would take damage (either by battle or card effect), you can place 1 Black Feather Counter on this card instead. This monster loses 400 ATK for each Black Feather Counter on it. Once per turn, you can remove any number of Black Feather Counters from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; That target loses 700 ATK per Black Feather Counter removed, also inflict damage to your opponent equal to that lost ATK. A monster whose ATK was reduced by this effect, except this card, has its effects negated.

Changelog:

●Can save you from Battle Damage

●Placing Counters is optional

●Doesn't utterly slaughter its own ATK

●Doesn't have to remove all Counters

●Effect negation

The Sanctuary in the Sky

Spell

Field

While you control a Fairy-Type monster: Activate a Counter Trap card from your hand. You can use this effect of "The Sanctuary in the Sky" once per turn. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving Fairy-Type monsters you control.

Dunno if that's worded right, but was unsure how to otherwise word it for the hard OPT

Alien Kid

Level 4, 1600/700, LIGHT, Reptile

If you control an "Alien" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If a monster(s) is Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field, place 1 A-Counter on each. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) If this card on the field is destroyed: You can remove 1 A-Counter from the field; add 1 "Alien" monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

Cyberdark Impact!

Spell

Normal

Return any number of "Cyberdark" monsters with different names from your side of the field, hand or GY to your Deck. Special Summon 1 "Cyberdark" Fusion monster with the same number of Fusion Materials as the number of monsters you returned to your deck from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)
While this card is in your GY, if a "Cyberdark" monster you control would be effected by an opponent's card effect, you can banish this card from your graveyard (Quick Effect): That monster is not effected by that effect this turn.

Gave it a grave effect, and made it work on either current (and any future) cyberdark fusions.

Ancient Fairy Dragon

LIGHT - Level 7 - Dragon/Synchro/Effect - 2100/3000

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand, but if you do, this monster cannot attack this turn. Once per turn, you can destroy as many Field Spell Cards on the field as possible, and if you do, gain 1000 LP, then you can add 1 Field Spell Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. During your opponent's End Phase, if either player controls a face-up Field Spell Card, you can Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position, but if you do, your opponent can select and negate one of this card's other effects.

Changelog:

●Only stops its own attacking capacity

●Lets you recoup Field Spells instead if just searching them

●Can self-revive during your opponent's End Phase if there's a Field Spell out

Frightfur Bear

DARK

Level 6

Fiend/Fusion/Effect

2200/1800

"Edge Imp Sabres"+ 1 "Fluffal" Monster

When this card is Fusion Summoned: You can equip one monster card from your GY to this card as an Equip Spell Card

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can equip that monster to this card as an Equip Spell Card.

Monster cards treated as Equip Spell Cards equipped to this card have the following effect.

  • The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK. You can send this card to the GY: The equipped monster is unaffected by your opponent's card effects this turn.

Now gets an equip on summon, and can burn its equips to make itself unaffected. It's also generic.

Frightfur Chimera

DARK - Level 8 - Fiend/Fusion/Effect - 2800/2000

3 "Frightfur" monsters

Must first be Fusion Summoned. If a "Frightfur" or "Fluffal" monster you control battles, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, you can Special Summon the destroyed monster to your side of the field, and if you do, the Summoned monster is treated as a "Frightfur" monster. This monster gains half the combined original ATK of all monsters Summoned by the effects of "Frightfur" monsters.

Now that's a boss.

Changelog:

●Can be revived

●Extends its Armades clause to your entire board

●Helped its steal not miss timing

●The destroyed monster doesn't have to be sent to the Graveyard

●The stolen monster's ATK is no longer halved

●The stolen monster becomes a Frightfur

●Boost is equal to half the stolen monster's original ATK, as well as any other monsters Summoned by a Frightfur

  • 2 weeks later...

Neo Flamvell Sabre

Attribute: FIRE
Type: Pyro/Effect
Level: 4
ATK: 1500
DEF: 200

While your opponent has 8 or less cards in their GY, this card gains 600 ATK. While your opponent has more than 8 cards in their GY, this card loses 300 ATK. If this card declares an attack: You can target up to 5 cards in either player's GY; banish them.

The ATK bonus is more flexible, and now it's a walking Soul Release to go with the "small opponent's grave" theme of Neo Flamvells.

Four-month bump, go!

Ms. Judge

LIGHT - Level 4 - Fiend/Effect - 1800/600

If an opponent's card effect activates, before resolving that effect, you can toss a coin twice. If the result is 2 Heads, negate that effect, and if you do, draw 1 card. You can only activate this effect of "Ms. Judge" once per turn.

Changelog:

●Made the effect optional, so you can choose what to negate

●Let you draw a card if you succeed in getting off the negation

Changing it to optional is good, but I would have preferred a single coin toss over an overkill-ish "negate and draw".

D.D. Scout Plane

Attribute: DARK
Type: Machine/Effect
Level: 2
ATK: 800
DEF: 1000

Once per turn, if this card is currently banished, and was banished this turn: You can Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position, but it cannot be Special Summoned if it leaves the field, except during the End Phase.

Squire stats and a faster effect.

It requiring multiple coin tosses is what makes it searchable by Gun Cannon Shot, and I didn't want to take that away. Given that it's a 1 in 4 chance, I figured that it should advance the gamestate if it does go off.

R-Genex Ultimum

EARTH - Level 4 - Machine/Effect - 1800/1400

If this card is Special Summoned, you can target 2 "Genex" monsters in your Graveyard: Shuffle them into your Deck. If this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 "Genex" monster from your Graveyard, except "R-Genex Ultimum".

Changelog:

●Made the shuffle effect trigger on Special Summon, to take advantage of things like Worker, Accelerator, and the Recycled/Machine Dupe combo.

●Gave it a new on-destruction effect to get back combo pieces/a dead Synchro.

Let's make Genex work better!

Genex Power Planner

LIGHT

Level 1

Machine/Effect

If this card is Summoned, you can add 1 "Genex" Monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Genex Power Planner". If you control  "Genex Controller" or a "Genex" Synchro monster, you can Special Summon this card from your GY. You can only activate each effect of "Genex Power Planner" once per turn.

Changelog:
●No longer misses timing
●Now triggers on all summons, not just normal

●Now searches any other Genex

Now has a SS effect (I'm hoping to keep the connection to Genex Controller 'cuz I think it's neat)

●Now is hard OPT because of its other buffs.

Genex Solar

LIGHT - Level 7 - Machine/Effect - 2500/1500

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by destroying 1 "Genex" monster you control. Inflict 500 damage to your opponent each time a "Genex" monster you control is sent to the Graveyard. You can Special Summon 1 "Genex" monster from your hand or Graveyard whose Level is less than or equal to this card's, and if you do, reduce this monster's Level by the Level of the Summoned monster. You can only activate this effect of "Genex Solar" once per turn.

Changelog:

●It can now Special Summon itself, instead of relying on a Genex monster staying alive to use as Tribute fodder.

●Summons by destroying instead of Tributing, to trigger the updated Ultimum and let you trigger certain cards.

●Acts as a reverse Destrudo/Level Eater for Genex, giving them incredible Synchro capacity.

Genex Solar

LIGHT - Level 7 - Machine/Effect - 2500/1500If you control a face-up "Genex" monster, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each face-up "Genex" monster that is sent to the Graveyard. You can discard 1 card to target 1 Level 6 or lower "Genex" monster in your hand, Deck, or Graveyard: Reduce this monster's Level by the target's Level, then Special Summon that target. You can only activate this effect once while this card is face-up on the field.

Changelog:

●Doesn't require Tribute at all for its easier Normal Summon

●Burns for each Genex, not each time a Genex is sent, to get higher burn

●Has a neat new Special Summon effect

Genex Furnace

Genex Solar was done months ago, and by the same user. Kinda funny to see the differences between then and now xD

Genex Spare

DARK/Machine/Tuner/Effect

800/1000

This card is treated as "Genex Controller" while it is on the field or GY. This card gains the Attributes of all "Genex" monsters you contol and in your GY.

Alien Infiltrator

EARTH - Level 2 - Reptile/Effect - 800/500

Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can move this card to an adjacent unoccupied Monster Zone. If your opponent controls no cards in the same column as this card, this card can attack your opponent directly. If an "Alien" monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Place 1 A-Counter on all monsters your opponent controls. If a monster with 1 or more A-Counters battles or activates its effect: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard.

Changelog:

●Let it move during either player's turn, as a Quick Effect.

●Made it spread A-Counters when anybody inflicts damage, so that its effect is relevant to the Alien playstyle.

●Gave it a unique self-Summon effect to help Aliens to swarm.

Also, offhand, Syserr, why is your first instinct to nerf? Even when prompted with monsters not relevant to anything, you always make it weaker than it was before.

Stronghold the Moving Fortress

Trap

Continuous

Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Machine-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 0/DEF 2000). (This card is also still a Trap Card.) While you control three "Gadget" monsters, this card gains 3000 ATK. You can special summon one "Gadget" monster from your hand. If you control three "Gadget" monsters with different names, you can add one "Gadget" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only activate each effect of "Stronghold the Moving Fortress" once per turn.

It now no longer forces DEF mode if that's relevant, and actually supports gadgets. It also doesn't care which three gadgets you use, just that you have three.

EARTH/Level 4/Machine/Effect

1400/1300

You can only control 1 "Genex Turbine". While you control this face-up card, all face-up "Genex" monsters you control gain 400 ATK. Once per turn; you can Normal Summon 1 additional "Genex" monster this turn. When a "Genex" monster declares an attack; inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's level x200. When this card is destroyed by an opponent's card and sent to the GY (by battle or effect); you can banish this card from your GY: Destroy all "Genex" monsters on the field, and if you do, Special Summon a number of "Genex" monsters from your hand or GY, eqaul the number of monsters destroyed by this effect.

Cannot be used as a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Material for a Summon. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be tributed. During your End Phase: You can target 1 card in your Pendulum Zone; Destroy it, and if you do, give control of this card to your opponent. During each of your Standby Phases: Take 300 damage for each face-up monster you control.

Obvious changes.
