Onslaught of the Fire Kings

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters: Special Summon 1 FIRE Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Its effects are negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Onslaught of the Fire Kings" per turn.

 

Just played a blackwing player who was using this. He use it to supplement his r4nk and synchro plays as well loop the one copy of Garunix with the new lv 12 sync. But you already use Omega in BW to offset the Allures, this card doesn't seem so out of place

I mean its awful in raidraptor because the deck usually has an archetype-only restriction.

 

If this really to make 4s why would u play this over Hatricker or (any 4 that can SS itself) that doesn't lend itself to an irrelevant corner case.

Cuz detaching Hattricker is not the same as detaching Fuzzy Lanius?

You gotta elaborate on that quote because no one said to play Hatricker over Fuzzy lmao

 

How does this help Onslaught's case as a "R4nk facilitator"

Why would you play this over hattricker? Sure Hattricker is potentially an easier rank 4 enabler (not sure I agree entirely on that, but lets go with it)

 

You can grab something like Fuzz and gain additional utility from it. Also it's kinda harder to stop a spell relative to a monster's ss effect

 

then again there's that this would deck thin better

wait what? i though this could only grab fire-type targets. garunix isn't all that great in RR to the best of my knowledge, so who would you use that works in raidraptors? Or am i wrong?

You can't even /use/ Fuzzy on the same turn as this.

 

Anyways, the point is, the card is bad as an engine. Its very specific with its activation condition, and its targets have almost zero synergy with everything else that you'd want to use this in as an engine, due to the card being fully dead if you draw its targets, and the targets /themselves/ are also dead draws. 

This is the same logic as Brilliant Fusion, but Seraphinite has just so much going for it that its worth the higher chance of dead drawing, because it just enables so many plays.
