What Pokemon do you love/hate in-game? (Storytelling thread)

Er, well, I'm not too sure about how to ask the question more clearly, soooo here's an example... I know that personally, one of my all-time favorite 'mons include Scizor. However, in all my years, I've never actually used it in-game ever. However, in-game, one of my favorite 'mon is Dugtrio as I've trained at least 3 of 'em and it was one of the few pokemon I'd EV trained in-game. It was also my go-to 'mon to defeat the Battle Maison with Kevin, the Truant Durant. Also, it's Slash attack murdered everything in Gen 1.

 

...So yeah, what are your "Dugtrios" not your "Scizors".

So, I'm not sure I explained it well, but what pokemon do you like/dislike because of experiences in-game, not because of outside reasons?

(I dunno if anyone else makes that distinction, but w/e)

Princess the Rhyhorn. Did a randomizer Nuzlocke for Platinum and first encounter was a female Rhyhorn I named Princess. She did well, though she didn't survive to become a Rhydon

Then in a Fire Red, in the safari zone, my first encounter...Female Rhyhorn. Caught her, named her Princess, took her to the Champion. She brought down several of the champs mons.

And I eventually gave her to one of my RP characters, Naomi, to look after her :)

Also Moltres and Vaporeon. Wouldn't give them a glance if not for me using them in my party once upon a time.

I have an attachment to Grandleon, my first Aegislash. Not only was it a pretty sweet Pokemon that has won me my fair share of online battles before I got to IV breeding, (that, and completely stonewalling Korrina as it Shadow Sneak swept her as a Honedge) the Anistar memory reader tells me his fondest memory is being evolved to Aegislash, being very moved at the thought. I interpret that as granting him the title of knighthood.

 

My Pokemon shitlist expands to anything with the nerve to hold a Quick Claw in the Battle Tower/Subway/Maison. Because nothing is more polite than going "Oh, I rolled well. Say goodbye to your battle streak! Suck it!" Gently caress each and every one of you.

This mofo is the shiznit. Playing a Mudkip Family-only run of Ruby on my GBA was so fun, and just made me love this guy even more. I've never beat Ruby with any other starter.

During my Emerald Nuzlocke I wiped against May on Route 110. All seemed lost until I spotted an unnamed Ralts in the pc. The only pokemon left. After hours of grinding,the newly evolved Kirlia was ready to avenge her comrades. They didn't stand a chance. Soon this Kirlia evolved and once I found the renamer, I decided this Gardevoir's name would be Hope. Late game, she was the single strongest mon in my party and since then, she has been my favorite pokemon.
