Are people surprised that the Draco universe was the DT all along?  I kept saying this forever.

 

I knew that after I saw the connections that the elemental tribes had with the Dracorulers and Dracoslayers.

I mean I said it the minute that Verz and Amorphage virus had similar aspects, Black and one other guy  made great counter points to shut it down, so we dropped it. And after that this is really the first time we've gotten any confirmation

You could have just said how the tribes shown mirror the same dynamics as the DT Universe.  That's a point that nobody could shoot down no matter how little evidence there is.  The heroic tribe has builds connections with the neutral tribes in order to fight the evil tribe, and the fact that they are all Pendulums is a possible consequence after the Zefras defeated the Infernoids.

 

Before you ask on the Infernoid thing, Void Dream and Tierra is the hallucinogenic dying dream of Decatron's remains after the Spear of Destiny killed Devyaty.

Konami does elemental cycles, and the four I mentioned ARE one of said cycles, with their own lores, at least for the first two.

Already explained that.  It's Decatron's dying dream.  It isn't called 'Void Imagination/Void Dream' for nothing after all.

Except those four do not share any type of relations with each other lorewise, but the Pendulum tribes introduced have clear relationships defined with each other through the story of the Dracoslayers and the Dracorulers.  Why else would those archtypes happen to have bear the attribute similarities and relationships of the DT universe?

That is true, but it is also true that the Pendulum archtypes seen in this series have much more direct continuity than other archtype stories not called the DT universe.

 

With the Metalphosis reveal of the DracoX being of a different universe, we could be going into alternate universe and timey-wimey theories.  Namely, what is the connection that the Metalphosis have with the Igknights and such?

Then how did the Yang Zing connection get over to Vanisher...having an orb implanted in your chest seems pretty direct to me JS

well to place my own theory, if the two universes are connected, then we likely won't see it for at least one more cycle of monsters in the dracoverse. there aren't anything more than glancing hits that could turn out to be nothing at all, but considering how the DT story ended (as far as we know) there has to be something more to it. but i don't know if we were ever shown what happened to suanni (the FIRE YZ monster) when they fought tierra, so this could be a result of his body being taken and used by vector.

 

this card itself though, even outside of possible lore is really good wyrm support.
