Atypical-Abbie
Well then, they have not forgotten about LV monsters, this should be interesting.
Neutrality Man
...My Silent Swordsman/Magician/Horus Deck just had an orgasm. Suddenly dropping LV7 directly from the Deck is almost obscene. This is also awesome because now we're getting Yugi's version of Swordsman
The Nyx Avatar
Nice touch with "ignoring the Summoning conditions"; might make it easier to bring out LV 7. And that Quick-Play Spell Card's awesome, as not only does it make it immune to opponent's card effects, but it's activation goes off uninterrupted. Looking at this spell again... is that ATK gain permanent? The placement of "until the end of the turn" suggests so. And the Spell Speed 4 clause is clearly there so SS LV7 can benefit from it. vla1ne
i love how the spell makes sure it can get around SS7 all spell negation. silent swordsman has continuous growth, but it'd take at least 2-3 turns to make him anything really hard to contend with outside of the sudden 1500 boost that the spell can grant. also he's a pretty decent counter to pendulum monsters. please tell me the horus, silent magician, dark lucius, and allure queen series will get similar assistance.(and armed dragon)
Darj
That Quick-Play Spell made me once again wish for a card that mills a Spell of your choice; or to be more specific, a Foolish Burial/Burgesstoma Marrella variant for Spells.I was thinking you could be a pro and tech Silent Swordsman in Nekroz to Tribute Shurit and get the searching effect of the latter while oppressing the opponent's Spell plays with the former, but I checked Shurit again and it has to be Tributed by an effect so the above play wouldn't work; what a bummer. Are there any feasible Warriors to Tribute (can be Summoned without taking your Normal Summon and/or refund you or float in some way) for Silent Swordsman? inb4 Spell Striker. Or perhaps T.G. Striker? Immortal Bushi?
Blake
It's too little too late. It doesn't prevent scales from hitting the board, even on Lv. 7, so.
Just Crouton
That old Bushi deck I made in 2010 has another boss.
