(This card's original Level is always treated as 12.)
Cannot be Synchro Summoned. Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending 2 Level 5 or higher monsters you control with the same Level to the Graveyard (1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuner), and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card(s) is Set on your side of the field (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "Power Tool" Synchro Monster or 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck. Cannot be targeted for attacks or by card effects, while you control another Synchro Monster.

I really like how much more usable this card has gotten with some of the newer supports. Crystal wing is a good stun boss, ignister rapes pendulums, and decks like metalphosis and cyber angels are easily able to support plays with it that don't feel overly gimmicky and not worth the effort.

It's quite strange to see it's level as blank, plus the LIMITED EDITION is placed under the card.....interesting, it's summoning capabilities is quite hard to met, since getting a level 5 or higher tuner is no ease....

let's say some (which quite a lot) Hieratic engine splashed decks and ED tolerant Monarch player may have slight disagreement with you

F0 is equally strange for you eh?

I never really understood this card. I just encountered it once and ran over it pretty easily. What's an effective use for it?

once is an hard to agreed kind of word

sure is not the best thing this game ever had . but its no joke either to quite constantly face 2 or more potent Dragon Synchro out of the blue with a just once dedicated turn effort earlier and combo with your set up in latter

after reasoning got hit i learned that a terrible deck can drop this on a dime.

Probably setting S/Ts and summoning Clear Wing/Ignister, as the OP literally just mentioned.

Its worth looking at decks that can summon ultimaya because in general its simple to make and crystal meth is broken.

a couple of ideas that are successful with ultimaya:

quickdraw.dek + red res + armageddon + malicious, since there are a lot of good dump targets in that deck for beatrice as well, and level 6 synchros can be made a focus. accel synchron also makes what would be a level 5 synchro summon into a 6 that can be used with malicious either for beatrice or ultimaya. quickdraw itself can be used with a level 6 that was level eaten or seraphinite. ultimaya is put to better use here also because its typically paired with another control monster aside from the crystal meth dragon, like beatrice or durendal.

zombies can summon this card + beatrice if they used the above mentioned red res + arm + malicious, and using preprep for dokurorider.

dark world can summon ultimaya every turn with uni zombie, dump mezuki use uni effect to drop a goldd/sillva make him level 5 etc. pretty nice since that deck sucks otherwise.

artifacts are probably the most interesting deck to play ultimaya in because ignition/green dude can let you use ultimaya's effect on your opponent's turn, and incorporating ultimaya isn't even hard. you either have to play a glow-up bulb to go coral dragon + charge warrior, or for TCG use a quickdraw synchron.

they suck ass

Reasoning or not, the deck is very bricky, and doesn't put out much (if any) momentum. You go -2 to bring out a guy who does basically nothing, and filling the grave is pretty difficult to pull off well. Necroface helps a little, but it's not searchable in the deck (at least consistently).

The deck doesn't brick as hard as you think. Not saying it's top tier, but it gets games off of many of the kozmo/PKfire players i know. at the very least it's worth some respect. not to mention lilith and onuncu respectively can put out more than enough pressure when used alongside void imagination/eye of the void/void seer. the deck doesn't do the explosive reasoning plays as often anymore, but it still has an amazing grind game, and monsters like attondel clean boards easily. the new blue eyes stuff is probably going to change that, but even then, infernoids can do the grind game as well as any other deck.
