I mean honestly, this card's just bad across the board. Monarchs are going to want to run Uranus long before they want to run this guy. I get that it's Jupiter; but it's honestly a pretty bad card. Taking control of a card is traditionally a +2 not a +1 - You gain a card and the opponent loses one. Card advantage considers both sides of the board. I avoid considering my opponent's side when I think of plussing or minusing; because it depends way too much on what my opponent is playing or what I'm stealing/removing. You're still spending two cards and only gaining one.You're also depriving them of resources, potentially removing a threat from the board, and - and this is key - making your monster into more of a threat. Card advantage in terms of raw card count is meaningless. That's why Ojamagic's +3 isn't as impressive as it sounds. It's what those card ARE that matters. Yes, he equips an opponent's face-up monster, and yes he Special Summons the monster if he survives to the End Phase, but this is being talked about as if it's in a vacuum. All this theorizing is interesting and everything, but I really think guys in here are severely overestimating Jupiter's viability. Also hey not entirely awful nostalgia bait for once. What wonderful progress. It's interesting you say "for once", considering I personally rate Uranus and Mars higher than Jupiter, and those two were revealed before him.
