Yeah wars will be fought over it someday As soon as 2025, large parts of the world could experience perrennial water shortages, just look at Cali suffering already If you think about how much water a human is made off, and how much we need in a day, it's kinda scary. The US and such is likely safe cause of coast (though even desalination is expensive) Central Europe and a few others are royally funk lol Mongolia http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=122195532 If you're interested
Aerion Brightflame
Central Europe doesn't have an extreme climate like Cali. The Mediterranean regions might, but they have the Mediterranean. It will suffer it eventually, but not like 25 years eventually. As usual Africa will get f***ed, but in general Africa will get f***ed by 30 different things. Primarily the fact it will get too hot to actually live in most parts of Africa, or to grow crops. So you'll get mass migration to better climates. Additionally all of the bugs and s*** that can now make there way North or South. Personally I think by the time Water is the most valuable commodity globally, something else will have gotten in the way first that we have to deal with. Probably rising sea levels, or mass famine, or political destabilisation. Probably a combination of the first and last. Because the first is inevitable at this point. And among other things threaten's London.

Ok, beluga caviar? who would even want to eat that? is it somehow amazingly delicious and i just have no idea? or do rich people just need things to spend money on nowadays? if they season it with saffron, how much would it be worth then? and somehow somebody bought a truffle of all things for more than that... VCR_CAT
Regarding water, if companies like Planetary Resources achieve their long-term plans (set to be in motion around 2020's last I heard); we'll be mining resources, many of which contain quite a bit of water, alongside lots of other resources. So, that'll be a thing. I think, regarding water as a resource, it's a little harder to predict when that will become an issue because of how technology is advancing and what humanity will have access to.
