[spoiler=Show] As I carry a metal helmet and a army issued bag, the sounds of birds chirping give peace to my mind today. The distant memories of comrades dying and gunshots has now subsided as my boots walk on the soft grass, embracing my very soul itself. A woman and a child stood before me, waiting on the front porch with happy faces. Tears ran down my cheeks as I dropped my bag so suddenly and I crouched down to the child's height. The kid came running into my open armed embrace and I sobbed. The child said, "You came back from the war, daddy." No idea what that is from but....... Right in the feels.
