goodfusion Posted June 18, 2016 Report Share Posted June 18, 2016 Most of the mats I use are paper ones from Structure/Starter decks, as until the SHVI sneak peek I didn't actually own a 'proper' one (I won the lucky Crystal Wing mat). I still use the paper mats because they're just easier to carry around though. I got the 2016 Yuya Starter deck mainly because I wanted the mat. Currently using the D/D/D Pendragon mat from last year's Starter deck because I want to keep my other ones in good condition because they're prettier. ♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪ Posted June 18, 2016 Report Share Posted June 18, 2016 Sometimes, Playmats affect the way we duel, and is an interesting addition to a Yugioh collector,I mainly use the fold-able classic paper mat for it's lightness and versatility in carrying, but I also use custom mats that design myself , with a unique addition to each.....That said, I don't really prefer the heavier mats, since it is quite hard to carry around.... Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted June 18, 2016 Report Share Posted June 18, 2016 I really only have the paper ones that came from starter/structure decks (and most of them do not have the Pendulum Zones on them b/c they're pre-ARC-V; some are even the ones from SDY/SDK). Then again, I don't have the sneak ones because either we don't get previews here or I have other commitments that prevent me from going. Otherwise, I generally don't use a mat (either because I have my Deck in sleeves already or playing area is generally clean otherwise; usually former). Then again, I could make a mat design in PS/GIMP and print it out somewhere later; without the zones printed on. If you guys pay attention in Showcase, I did post some designs a while back. Here's a recent one (I'd love to get this printed out for personal use, but yeah just deal with it being a design for now) [spoiler=Big pic] Basically Chibi's ultimate form in Dragon Drive if you've read the manga. Text below is a set name [kind of similar to sneak preview mats, but without logo and stuff] (Do I even dare to post this in Showcase? Still need to work on positioning the zones where the Scales would be.) ----I have some Naruto CCG mats, but forgot where I put some of them (then again, game is dead so they aren't making more).
