Dracoslayer Yangzing could be useful, for the very least you can set up the 6 guy to search out the CT

 

 

Because clearly the best thing to throw into a Deck that Special Summons, but usually upon destruction, is a card that hinders Special Summons.

CoD works in any deck that has either selective SS as in you can set up and ss on opponents turn or later or any deck that has grave senergy. Both which YZ meet.

 

Don't think it's the best build, but it could work. I'd personally go for a Zefra-Slayer build just cause pendulum summoning is broken

 

Sad sheet the 6 guy doesn't trigger if you pop him from the p-scale though :/

I mean they already have Divine Strike. I wouldn't mind more Jiatou targets in MetalYZ (would be more inclined to run the Counter Trap in multiples), but it doesn't seem like it can be live turn 2 either as it is without enabling it with Zefraniu, which does not float into another YZ on the field. Although that is mostly fine because you always have to burn Harbinger's negation against Raigeki anyway, making the only downside Blue-Eyes Alternative, really.

 

Also not the most relevant, but this card forces you to pop a YZ and that'll make them miss timing if you're not responding to a CL1 card effect.

Thing is, nobody will see it coming making it a great surprise factor that doesn't actually take away from the deck at all. It's kinda like Demise Kozmo in all aspects.

You can run like 9 essential Yang Zings or something, just not sure on ratios.

Issue is YZ unlike things like Qliphort, don't get something like Scout that could allow them to get monsters reliably without needing to run too much. I guess Oracle is a thing but it's awkward and only the level 6 is worth it.

 

Running a low enough count to enable effective CoD would mean that you get a lot of hands without monsters, and with 3-9 of your traps needing YZ monsters, more bricks.

 It'll be just as effective as low monster count Six Samurai.

I think what people are missing is that, while it is extremely easy to telegraph, it's also very hard to adequately answer.

 

They NS a Yang Zing, any Yang Zing. Now you have to deal with that... but unless you can R4/Synchro for 5 without using an effect, you won't be able to outplay this.

 

I'm not sure if it's good enough to make Yang Zing better, but it encourages them to play a little more "aggresively" in order to outplay you. This means you get more damage in, but you get fewer plays.
