Getting this down while I can, so I can continue scheming as I go. I am turning the Toons into something powerful yet truly self-destructive.

[spoiler=Representing the Toon Kingdom!][spoiler=~General Data~]Player Name: Maylin Bornidel
Player Age: 28
Player Gender: Female
Character Name: Lider
Character Age: 23
Character Gender: Genderless (uses 'shi'/'hir' pronouns)[spoiler=Appearance:][spoiler=Spoilered for Safety + Large Pic]centrifuge_dragon_by_meken-d36hept.jpg

Lider's hacking nature appears in hir avatar in two ways. The first being the complete lack of clothing outside of equipment which is supposed to be impossible. The other being the fact that the character appears completely androgynous and the game refers to hir as either 'shi' or 'hir' depending on the pronoun needed. No form of sexual organs of either variety or feminine breasts on hir chest appear on the character as well. Shi is mostly dark-brown, though the brown's dark enough to be mistaken for black or dark-grey from a distance. While hir belly area, which starts from under her chin to the tip of hir tail, is white, between the two colors is a thick line of pale-yellow. Hir eyes always glow with a light-blue light, which almost makes it impossible to see the single-colored light-green eyes surrounded by a black sclera. Poking out of hir head where ears should be is a pair of white horns sticking out of a pair of yellow splotches. Large fins appear along the top of hir head and hir back, something shi has been using as a 'rudder' of sorts along with the tail since straight up running with a speed buff on disorients hir outside of the game. Shi stands at a 6'2" in height and weights only 112 lbs oddly enough. Hir tail, if you were to measure it, is as long as she is tall.

[spoiler=Biography (More will be added as things are revealed):]Maylin is what many would call a N.E.E.T., spending way too much time at home playing games and staying out of society. However, she isn't one in the fact that she's willing to work, but just cannot physically handle being around others in the real world. There have been a few times when she's acted as a Game Manger in some of the games she's played, halting illegal activity and being paid for her service. While not a Game Manager for this particular game, she has acted as a pseudo-GM when no one else was on, using her hacking knowledge to stop others and report them to the real GMs.

In each game she plays, she usually gives herself at least one personal challenge to make whatever she's playing more interesting for herself. After discovering how the Toons were considered the 'worst' archetype due to no one's willingness to take self-inflicted damage, she decided to take on the challenge of beating the game as a whole with the Toons by her side. Due to her stubborn greed of wanting Rare versions of her cards or better, even with the ability to see when the drops in question would happen, she has spent a lot of time getting her cards. Mistiming kills, goofing up and selecting the wrong card by accident when getting annoyed, various things have caused her to spend more time than she should have getting them. But then again, any GM looking at that time would just think her strangely dedicated to getting those cards. She has 4 copies of every Toon-related card at common rarity, but just doesn't use them.

After a couple of self-inflicted wipeouts as Lider while getting used to the deck she built as well as getting good at ducking, dodging, running and rolling out of the way of opposing attacks, shi started unleashing win after win with the deck, even against other players. Slowly becoming famous for her use of the Toon archetype, she started developing both allies and enemies...

[spoiler=Personality (Done in List format):]From what I can piece together so far...

  • Lider is hyper-intelligent...shi just doesn't make very-intelligent social decisions.
  • Shi is a skilled hacker and does use it in various games she plays, though not in traditional ways that people searching for hackers would look for. Lider doesn't change the code, shi watches it and reacts accordingly. "There is a fine line between giving yourself an edge and handing yourself the win. Most whom hack seek the latter, which is often their downfall."
  • Lider's a greedy character, (which is what turned hir to the ways of a hacker), but shi is still willing to earn what shi wants unlike most other hackers. In fact, shi uses hir hacking to time hir kills to get the drops shi wants instead of outright fixing the drops. This is why shi has Rare-plus versions of her Toon-themed cards and has a known playtime fitting of someone that did the traditional grind for their cards, even if it is slightly less than average.
  • Shi's careful when shi's using hir hacking to make it not obvious to most. The only time shi's not so cautious is when she realizes shi's against another hacker that's abusing it. Then the kid gloves come off.
  • If the avatar appearance doesn't clue one in on this, shi loves to mess with people's heads regarding hir gender. This is due to the large number of times that shi has been mistaken for a male while being a female outside of the game, and admittedly became amused by the thought that gender appears up to the eyes of the beholder.
  • Shi firmly believes that karma has kicked hir right square in the ass when shi saw the 'Death has become permanent' message after remembering the suicidal playstyle of hir deck. In fact, the first words out of hir mouth after seeing it was 'Oh, sh!t.'
  • While shi is still able to perform a certain amount of hacking, at least enough to catch other hackers even if they haven't done anything noticeable yet and potentially even halt their attempts, even shi hasn't figured out how to stop the now-fatal effect of taking more damage than you're supposed to be able to take. Shi's doing hir damned best to find out what's causing deaths and stopping them from happening, though. Because of this, even after Death becoming permanent, shi would sometimes appear with a floating screen in front of her that acts much like the touchscreen of a tablet during downtime. Games should not mean a method of murder, after all...

More things are likely to reveal themselves over time about Lider. If such happens, this is likely to be updated accordingly.

[spoiler=~Player Deck (9 cards)~][spoiler=Monsters (4):]Pendulum cards are used to represent the difference between 'non-monster' and 'monster' modes. They are not actually Pendulums.
The 'Toon Rule' used for these monsters when actually Summoned: "This monster must wait 5 seconds before it can attack and may only battle (monster's level) times before it destroys itself. While this monster's controller controls "Toon World", this monster's attacks may only be blocked by Toon monsters."[spoiler=Toon Ancient Gear Golem:]f1SKxbA.jpg

Once per turn, you may pay 900 mana: Summon 1 "Toon Magic Acolyte Token" (Spellcaster-Type/Dark/Token/Level 2/ATK 1100/DEF 700) in Defense Position. This token must wait 5 seconds before it can attack and may only battle 2 times before it destroys itself. While this token's controller controls "Toon World", this token's attacks may only be blocked by Toon monsters.

[spoiler=Red-Eyes Toon Dragon:]vVfLVlw.jpg

~Borrowed Power: Pay 500 mana: Equip as wings.
 - While equipped, the player is capable of flight.
 - Once per turn, you may pay 650 mana: Summon 1 "Red-Eyes Toon Chick Token" (Dragon-Type/Dark/Token/Level 1/ATK 800/DEF 500) in Defense Position. This token must wait 5 seconds before it can attack and may only battle 1 time before it destroys itself. While this monster's controller controls "Toon World", this monster's attacks may only be blocked by Toon monsters.
~As an Entity: (Pay 800 mana to Summon this monster while "Toon World" is active.)This monster must wait 5 seconds before it can attack and may only battle 7 times before it destroys itself. [spoiler=Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon:]klR8fHd.jpg

~Borrowed Power: Pay 900 mana: Equip as wings.
 - While equipped, the player is capable of flight.
 - Once per turn, you may select one of the following effects:

[spoiler=Equip Cards (2):]The following cards are not counted towards the deck limit.[spoiler=Comic Hand:]dZwaEv8.jpg

(Pay 600 Mana to activate this card.)
Equip to Player's Hand.
If you touch a player using a Borrowed Power with this item, that Borrowed Power is interrupted: Also, you gain that Borrowed Power (you do not have to pay the activation or maintenance costs for the stolen Borrowed Power). You can only steal 1 Borrowed Power this way at a time.

[spoiler=Mimicat:]0y9oklF.jpg

(Pay 500 Mana to activate this card.)
Equip as Player's Pet.
When an opponent's card is destroyed, if you control "Toon World" and a Toon monster, Mimicat digs the destroyed card back up and steals it. The stolen card is immediately activated (you do not have to pay the activation costs for the stolen card). You can only steal 1 card this way at a time.

[spoiler=S&T Cards (3):][spoiler=Toon Kingdom (Finished!):]uGGucE6.jpg

When this card is played, randomly select one of your other unplayed card. That card is unplayable for the rest of this Duel while this card is active. While this card is on the field, pay 10 mana every second. If you cannot, this card is destroyed.
 - Toon monsters you own may be summoned as separate entities and treat this book as "Toon World". Your opponent cannot target Toon monsters you control with card effects. Whenever a non-token Toon monster would be destroyed, pay 200 mana times the monster's level to prevent the destruction instead. If it would be destroyed by its own effect, instead return it to your hand and Summon it for 100 damage times its level instead of the normal cost.

~Ruling: The owner of this card has to pay to prevent the Toon's destruction in both cases. They cannot choose not to pay the cost and let the monster be destroyed. A player can wind up committing suicide from the last effect.

[spoiler=Token Thanksgiving (Finished!):]nI7yjAU.jpg

(Activate only when you have no cards in hand.)
Destroy all Tokens you control: Increase your Mana by 200 per destroyed Token.

[spoiler=Toon Defense (Finished!):]ZHjN2Na.jpg

(Pay 400 mana to activate.)
If an attack would hit a Summoned Toon monster, you can redirect that attack to yourself.

[spoiler=~Other Data~][spoiler=Fighting Style:]Lider is rather-spendy with hir mana, if not a straight-up suicidal player. Using the power of one of the most self-destructive archetypes in the game, shi aims to end the opponent by taking advantage of the unique ability to summon a potential army of monsters around hir to defend hir. Unlike most players with set equip spells, hirs are capable of stealing from the opponent, allowing for a variety of play without having hir change up her deck frequently for it. Hir first move, due to how it ends up affecting the rest of each duel, is always to play Toon Kingdom if possible. While shi is unable to choose when Toon Kingdom does and does not stop the self-destruction of hir four Toon 'Generals', shi often doesn't care that they do end up leeching hir mana, and even hir health. As far as shi is concerned, their worth far exceeds their drain over time.

Finished my app! It's just below Arthur/Thomas.

It all seems cohesive enough, albeit I have some complaints. Mainly, the reviving factor of Lionheart. I was planning for Monster Reborn to be the only way to avoid death early on, with super rare cards reaching the same effect. You can replace that last bit with something else or just leave the first part as is.

The other thing that bothers me is Kusanagi's mana cost. 900 mana for negating three whole cards, which mind you is a third of your opponent's deck at the beginning, seems a bit overpowered. If you could consider bumping it up to 400 per activation, that would be great.

The rest of the cards and the character himself seem okay, I really like the idea of a swiss army dude with like a thousand different swords. If you can get those two things sorted, consider yourself accepted!

I just can't seem to come up with anything cohesive for a character. I think I'm gonna bow out for now. Best of luck!

That's too bad, but remember we're always accepting! So feel free to join anytime if you get a sudden burst of inspiration further down the road!

If that's so, consider it done! I bumped Kusanagi's mana cost to 400, and turned Lionheart's effect to the OCG-compliant one, reversing damage instead of reviving myself.

Are there any in-game items that are not cards?  Also, is there an in-game currency?

On the first question, no. On the second question: cards. You trade your cards with shop NPCs, encouraging farming monsters against pure PvP (unless you're really good at pvp and can consistently steal good cards).

[spoiler=The Chaos Witch]

JtKCD3K.jpg
"My actions are pure. Surely you understand."

Player Name: Seth Phoenix

Player Age: 20

Player Gender: Male

Character Name: Sett

Character Age: 16

Character Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]iHRr3VU.jpg
Height: 5'0"
Weight: 98 pounds

[spoiler=Personality]
In a traditional alignment system, Sett can be found deep in the "chaotic good" territory; a brash antihero who does what she wants, . She'll do what she believes is morally right, but otherwise binds herself to no rule of man, god, or anything else. What she seeks above all else is power. Despite her strong morals, she firmly believes in the grim truth that this game is where one must either kill, or be killed. She makes a point to specifically target players who target other players, fancying herself a "killer of killers" as it were. In the same vein, Sett regularly shows mercy to the weak, but won't take it well if her act of mercy is wasted, either by the spared being killed by others, or the spared becoming a killer themselves. If this happens, she makes it a personal goal to hunt down the offender.

Sett likes to believe that by exterminating all the rotten players in the game, she can make the game world a peaceful place. Although her methods can be considered extreme, she wants nothing more than to create a world where everyone can be happy, despite their situation. If something like that could happen, she'd be perfectly content spending the rest of her days in the game world. Until then, she'll burn and destroy everything in a violent world to allow a peaceful one to rise from its ashes. In the world as it currently is, Sett knows the importance of having allies can make a huge difference, and as a result she tries to keep plenty of her own. Betraying or harming them can easily anger her. However, the thing that gets her most is actually quite trivial. Nobody touches the hat and gets away with it.

Sett is someone whose guard is almost always up. Almost. While she's certainly brash and upfront most of the time, even she has some weaknesses. In those rare instances where somebody manages to catch her off-guard, there's quite a bit to be learned about Sett, her motivations, and the reasons behind her approach to the game. Of course, she has very strict conditions for ever letting her guard down, so it's definitely not something that happens often or even irregularly. What is Sett like with her guard down?

Only one way to find out, isn't there?

[spoiler=Player bio]
Sett's story begins offline, with one Seth Phoenix. Seth is and always was quite RPG-savvy, knowing his way around every trope, every enemy, and every puzzle. It would suffice to call him an encyclopedia of RPG knowledge. Another thing Seth thoroughly enjoyed was role-playing; part of the appeal to RPGs in his case. Imagine his surprise when an MMORPG centering around the world's number-one game was released. Naturally, he had to join.

He had spent a good while planning out every detail of Sett's character. Every small point of her appearance, her mannerisms, and what kind of deck would suit her. She was, to date, his magnum opus of role-playing characters. However, when Seth had logged in and met with the message that death was permanent, and that there would be no logging out...well, something in his head snaped. The mind of Seth Phoenix died that day, as he registered this message as what it may as well have been: He'd been thrusted into a new world entirely, separate from everything he knew. The personality that was Sett completely overtook the boy's mind, with one goal in mind.

Sett's character was designed to be an otherwise-lawless witch who sought to see the world destroyed so as to leave a pure utopia in its place. The world was a big place, though; even bigger than Sett could burn on her own. There was only one way to reset the world. She had to overcome the greatest trials in this world and appeal for a single wish from the gods. And so begins the story of Sett, the Chaos Witch.

[spoiler=Deck]
Cards can be found here.

Sett's deck puts an emphasis on powerful cards that cause high amounts of damage or destroy many opposing cards, with the tradeoff of high mana costs, having to discard cards, or even damaging herself for the purpose of using overwhelming offensive power to secure a fast victory, with Guardian Dreadscythe as a backup plan in case such a thing can't be done.

Borrowed Power Monsters: Guardian Dreadscythe

Equip Cards: Silver Wing, Buster Rancher, Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe*

S&T Cards: Fissure, Heavy Storm, Ookazi, Raigeki, Tremendous Fire, Torrential Tribute, Ring of Destruction

*Can only be created and equipped by the effect of Guardian Dreadscythe

[spoiler=Fighting Style]
Sett's playstyle is strategically offensive. She uses high-cost cards to inflict massive damage to opposing players or fields, often having to discard other cards in the process. As a result, Sett is forced to decide which cards are best for a given situation and which ones she won't need in a given fight. Of course, Sett also worked out the best way to take advantage of these discard costs.

Once her hand has been nearly depleted or she runs out of mana, Sett will use Guardian Dreadscythe to create a weapon. The weapon she gains from it will most likely be very powerful by the time she's played it, due to her mass removal and high damage output putting lots of cards in each player's graveyard, which is the plan. This way, she bypasses the restriction of Dreadscythe's weapon while also maximizing its effectiveness.

[spoiler=ReinHardt]

--------------------------------------------------------------

~ I will protect you no matter what ~

Player Name: Reiner Reinhardt

Player Age: 20
Player Gender: Male
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Name: ReinHardt
Character Age: 20
Character Gender: Male
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[spoiler=Appearance]
WOUgVKy.png

[spoiler=Biography]
Reiner Reinhardt was born into the militaristic Reinhardt. Rigorous trainings and strict Dueling trainings filled his life from as soon as he can remember, just so he could live up to his family name. While he was still living with his parents, he could never make any friends. One day though when he was coming home from school he saw some kids playing Yu-Gi-Oh in a gaming store. Part of him wishes he could play cards happily with friends like them. But his parents would never see eye-to-eye with that.

However, at the age of 17 he finally snapped. He decided to end it all. He got his first job and saved up every Euro he got from it. He worked for two months, saving up all his Euros and preparing every document he would need. He also enrolled in a Japanese class as part of his preparations for going there. He packed his Deck, clothes and all the food he could carry with him from the kitchen. He Ran away from absurd trainings. Ran away from his family pride. Ran away from everything.

Eventually, after spending most of his money, he finally wound up in the New Domino City. With every passing day, the grim realization that while he managed to escape from one hell, he put himself in something far worse was more and more crushing. While he had enough to get by for a time being, it wasn't enough to either continue his travel or try to start a new life. When he was finally ready to give up himself to the darkness, he managed to find light in it. Owner of the local gym, Albert Berthardt, who also had German origins, realized that the depressed young man who sat everyday in front of his gym, is a foreigner who lost his way in Domino city. He decided to give him a place to stay, if he helps around the gym. Eventually, Albert became the father that Reiner never really had. To this day Reiner helps him around the gym, nowadays as a gym monitor.

As he worked more at the gym, he actually made a friend. The son of Albert, Fubar Berthardt. He saw Reiner's Deck and told him that some of his friends were also Duelists. One day Reiner found Fubar in of his room's door with a present for him. He opened up his very first Duel Disk after his training days. Singlehandedly the best day of his life.

3 years later, that day when they heard that announcement has come:

'If you win my game, I'll grant any wish, no matter how ridiculous it is'

Reiner, who was 20 years old then, decided not to play it, it seemed suspicious to him. However Fubar decided to try it out just to see whether or not it was true. “It’s probably just a publicity stunt” he said. Reiner didn’t see Fubar since that day for a long time. But it wasn't something unusual since Fubar was a gamer: He could stay days inside his room's dark atmosphere until the game is done.
One day, some of Fubar's friends came for a visit, he went with them over to his room and found him still logged in, pale and sweaty.

None of them knew what to do. Mr Albert suggested going to the authorities, he went outside like crazy to the closest police station, however, someone else pointed out they’d just deny it. Reiner decided it was up to him. He told them that they were the only ones who could save Fubar. "We must log in and get him out of there" he said. Everyone else was too scared to go, except "Ryuusei Batista", one of Fubar's friends, who decided to accompany Reiner to save Fubar.
For a second, Reiner was scared of what was waiting them in that virtual world, but something inside him was alright with that. He felt like this was his calling. He remembered how Fubar was the one who’d gotten everyone to help him out. It didn’t take him long to decide. He was going in there, and he wasn’t coming out until he got him back.

They logged in...

L o g g i n g     o u t     i s     n o t     a l l o w e d

[spoiler=Personality]
Reiner had a dark childhood, and that was enough to make his unsociable: He was always quite, and he won't make any friendships unless the other part makes an effort to gain Reiner's trust. When he was in Japan, he was always avoiding any interaction with foreigners (Japanese and other races that lived in Domino City) to avoid any kind of culture shock. As a gym monitor, if someone asked him an advice concerning the trainings, he would only answer the question. Nothing more nothing less, and because of that, everyone was respecting him, since he always had the same dead-serious face-experience.

However, even if he looks strong and tough from the outside, he is soft from the inside, always caring and protecting his surrounding, which can be seen when he was alone with his new family, he became a different person: A warm smile appeared in his face with more cheerful and childish acts.

- A giant black cloud erupts followed by a incredible loud noise, and shockwave that blows away everything in it's path. Then it got all silent while the giant cloud of dust rise form the ground.

The Phantom Knights of Tomb Shield

Pay 200 Mana to activate: [Equip as a shield]

- While equipped: Your defense is increased, but your agility is decreased.

- Pay 400 Mana: Negate 1 of your opponent's Attack (or Magic) that is directed to you or an ally by blocking it with this shield.

The Phantom Wing

Pay 300 Mana to activate: [Equip as wings]

- "Flight" ability is enabled, with the ability of dodging Attacks.

- You must pay 100 mana every 10 seconds to maintain this card.

The phantom knights' Fog Blade

Pay 300 Mana to activate: [Equip as a blade]

- Once while equipped you can disable your opponent from one of its borrowed power cards, and if you do, this card gains the effect of that card.

Fighting Style

- Reiner is always opening his game with "Fighting Spirit". He keeps heavily empowering himself and his monsters with the "Phantom Knight" cards while regenerating the Mana required to maintain his cards with Moon Mirror Shield.

- He will protect his allies and monsters and takes as much as damage as he can (benefiting from Moon Mirror shield).

- As a last resort, he will use his trump card "Dark Eruption", a decision that he may never take unless it's a matter of an ally's life or death.

After noting interest and then drawing a blank on cards, I think I finally got something that I like. Leaving heavy WIP because its 1:28 AM and I accidentally erased all my work on this post already ;_;

EDIT: Almost done - just need to actually write out stuff

  • Butterfly Dagger - Elma: Equips the user with a light dagger, allowing the user to strike quickly at close quarters. If this card would be destroyed, it is returned to the users hand and cannot be equipped for 2 minutes after being returned.

Monsters

  • Guardian Elma: Cost 600 mana to activate. If the user has "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" equipped, the user can destroy "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" instead of paying the 600 mana cost to activate this card. Increases the user's agility and adds an Equip Spell Card from the user's Graveyard to their hand.
  • Stealth Bird: Cost 600 mana to activate. Turns the user mostly invisible for 5 minutes or until the user attacks. The first attack done while cloaked is 1.2x stronger.
  • Mist Bird Clausolas: Can only be activated if the user has a bow or crossbow equipped. Cost 1400 to activate. Fires an arrow that surounds a 2 km radius in deep mist for 6 minutes. Any enemy caught in the mist have their monster effects negated and cannot attack while they are in the mist.

S&T Cards

  • Spell Shatter Arrow: Can only be activated if the user has a bow or crossbow equipped. Cost 400 to activate. Fires an arrow that, alongside dealing damage, will also destroy any active Spell Card.
  • Venom Shot: Can only be activated if the user has a bow or crossbow equipped. Cost 400 to activate. Fires a venomous arrow that will deal damage over time to its target for 3 minutes or until cured of poison.
  • Ebon Arrow: Can only be activated if the user has a bow or crossbow equipped. Cost 400 to activate. Fires a cursed arrow that weakens the opponent's defenses and attack when struck by it for 3 minutes or until cured of the curse.
  • Feather Shot: This card has two effects, based on whether the user has a bow or crossbow equipped.
    • Cost 400 to activate if the user has a crossbow or bow equipped. Fires an arch of three feather-like arrows that fly flaster than normal arrows.
    • Cost 600 to activate if the user does not have a crossbow or bow equipped. Tosses a volley of 5 speeding feather-like daggers forward
  • A Feather of the Phoenix: This card has two effects, based on whether the user has a bow or crossbow equipped.
    • Cost 400 to activate if the user has a crossbow or bow equipped. Fires a powerful, flaming arrow that can burn anything flammable. The arrow acts as a lightsorce and can be picked up if it did not hit an enemy or burn something. If the arrow hits something, the user can add a card that requires the user of a bow or crossbow from their Graveyard to their hand.
    • Cost 600 and the user to discard a card from their hand to activate if the user does not have a crossbow or bow equipped. The power of the phoenix allows the user to add any card from their Graveyard to the top of their Deck.

Fighting Style: Rather than taking on her foes head-on, Heather would rather even the playing field using stealthy tactics and debuffs to get the upper hand. She is almost never seen in the front lines, preferring to stick in the backline and poke at the enemy. Of course, this is assuming that she is in a team, which she prefers to fight in. However, if put alone she can still hold her own by kiting around her enemies and debuffing them.

[spoiler=Kingbartal]
Player Name: Fubar Berthardt
Player Age: 24
Player Gender: Male
Character Name: Kingbartal
Character Age: 24
Character Gender: Male
[spoiler=Appearance]

[spoiler=Biography]
Born in Japan, Fubar had a Japanese mother, Shinoa Yuki, who died before he could remember her, and a german father, Albert Berthardt, who owns a gym. Fubar never felt his mother absence, his father was doing both "mom & dad" jobs. Their apartment was right above the gym so his dad had no problems in raising his kid and taking care of his business.
Growing up surrounded by gym machines and bodybuilders, Fubar eventually hates everything related to that and started a new hobby: Gaming.
Becoming a gamer-addict, his father was quite concerned about his son, but Fubar was a block-headed he didn't give importance about his dad's opinion. One day Fubar found one of his friends, Ryuusei Batista, contemplating in the gym. It was weird since Ryu was not a gym-guy. When he approached him, he found that he was looking at a guy in front of the gym, a blonde husky dude.
"He looks depressed" said Ryu, "I also assume he is not from here" said Fubar, "Yeah, anyway they are having a new game in the shop today", full of excitement, he answered "Let's hurry then!".

Days later, Fubar went back home to find a new guest in their home, it was the same guy that he has seen that day in front of the gym. His dad told him that his name was Reiner, he was also a German, and he's going to stay with them, in Fubar's deceased monster room and will help him in the gym as a monitor. Fubar shook his head and nervously said "He doesn't look like a good guy, does he?", his father replied that that is your opinion, and that he was completely trusting him.
At night, since he couldn't sleep, Fubar decided to check out Reiner. He went to his mom's room, his hands were shacking while holding the knob, gathering his courage, he took a deep breath and opened the door. He saw Reiner laying down on his bed, with a warm smile on his face and tears of joy dripping from his shiny green eyes. Once Reiner sensed Fubar's presence he straightened up start rubbing his eyes. Fubar saw Reiner's Deck on the bed, he sat next to him and told him that some of his friends were also Duelists. Reiner didn't answer, it was an awkward silent atmosphere. Fubar went out from the room, "Good night, Reiner" he said while nervously getting out from the room, when he was about to close the door he heard a soft voice answering him "Good night". Closing the door, he went to the living room, bending on the table, Fubar sighed with relief "He's not a bad guy after all".

After that meeting, their communication and relationship was quite awkward, but it all changed the day Reiner found Fubar in his room with a present for him. He opened it up and grabbed a Duel Disk. With tears of joy, he hugged Fubar. Crushed by the Husky German's hug, Fubar had no choice but to hug him back and prayed that his rib cage would survive.
 It was yet astonishing to discover that such person could have this soft side ...

3 years later, that day when they heard that announcement has come:

'If you win my game, I'll grant any wish, no matter how ridiculous it is'

Reiner decided not to play it, it seemed suspicious to him. However Fubar decided to try it out just to see whether or not it was true. “It’s probably just a publicity stunt” he said. He logged in...

W e l c o m e     t o     M M O D A     ...     D e a t h     i s     p e r m a n e n t ...

L o g g i n g     o u t     i s     n o t     a l l o w e d

[spoiler=Personality]
Fubar is quite social and make friends easily, however most of them end up running away from him: He ADORES making fun his friends insecurities. He is also a flirty dirty guy, yet he scored 0 girlfriends in high school and college. He doesn't take things seriously. He was the "cool kid".

But despite all these shitty traits, he had a group of faithful friends that will never turn their backs on him. Why?
He was cheerful and optimist, he will never let someone down and will do the impossible to cheer him up, he will do anything just to see the smile on their faces again.
This is the part of him that was always showed to Reiner hoping that someday he will forget his past, whatever how dark it was.
