The Nyx Avatar
LORE:When your opponent would declare an attack or destroy 1 or more cards on the field: You can pay 1500 Life Points; negate the attack or effect and if you do, banish the card. If the banished card is a monster: Your opponent takes damage equal to its ATK.

cr47t
Looks pretty OP to me. Would add a OPT or remove the burn but that's just me. (Then again, the card is called "Over-Success" so it feels kinda fitting.)
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Can you point out a specific reason why the card appears OP to you, cr47t? If this were the OCG, I'd probably say one could use this as an anti-Feather Duster thing or something, but you'd might as well use Stardust or something (assuming you have resources to make it) instead; it doesn't cost LP to use although it won't banish. Suppose it'd punish stuff like RDA (any form)'s effect or ironically, even OG Stardust if it negates something, then burn heavily. Or really, it's Dimensional Prison that negates and burns Would agree that the burn is a bit high though, even with the cost factored. Half the damage is still enough. [spoiler=I realized this was in Casual]In general application for us, suppose blocking Raigeki attempts and pretty much common monsters that can remove stuff (example being Kozmos). I admit that it'd be nice to get rid of Dark Destroyer and slam 3k worth of damage in the opponent's face.
The Nyx Avatar
So regardless of meta practicality, should I keep the damage effect as it is, or tone it down to half?
