Who are your best and worst Smash 4 characters?

My mains are Fox and Link, with secondaries currently being Cloud and the Mario Bros.

I really suck with ROB, Duck Hunt, Mega Man, Olimar, and Ness/Lucas. Ness and Lucas would be better if I could get the hang of their recovery, but it's been years and still no luck on that front.

EDIT: Forgot Ganondorf. I suck with that guy.

I think this post would be much better if it had an actual poll.

Smash U has 58 characters, 61 if you count the Mii Fighters. That'd be way too much of a hassle to make two polls with 61 options each; I'm not even sure YCM topics can have that many poll options.

I put this in Polls since it's a listing topic and I've seen similar topics here before, but maybe it's better in VG idk.

My mains are Cloud and Bowser. Secondaries, I guess those would be Game & Watch and Dr. Mario, although I have lost practice with them.

My worst? I cannot pinpoint them at the moment. I don't feel comfortable with many characters, I have not tested most of the DLCs besides Cloud and Roy, and I don't have practice with those that I know are good in the right hands (e.g. Sheik, ZZS), but I'm leaning towards Sonic, Shulk, Ness and Mega Man.

I actually really like Game & Watch; I find myself doing okay using him once in a blue moon. I don't particularly excel as well, but he's fun to play. And with Dr. Mario you'd think your skills with Mario would translate, but I consistently perform worse with him. I think it's his weight that I can't get the hang of.

Best-Sonic, Link, Ganondorf

Worst-Fox, Falco, Samus

Everyone I know is great with Ganondorf except me, I should list him in OP.

Interestingly, my skill with Falco is way less than with Fox. Smash 4 did a pretty good job of further distinguishing its clone characters from their original counterparts.

While I'm not good to begin with the ones I seem to do best with are Robin and Peach

Worst would be....uh, there's plenty I've barely used. Perhaps Bowser.

Robin and Peach are fun, I'd say they fall right in the middle for me alongside Game & Watch.

As for Bowser, dash attacks and punishes after attacks finish on your shield are your friends. Note that is probably terrible advice, but that's what I usually do and get mixed results.

Kirby & Jigglypuff are best to me, since they can float for a relatively long time, making them agile to doge incoming attacks, as well as delivering aerial attacks...

Also both are Pink and Cute.....

Jigglypuff also has a quite powerful rollout move and upthrow

Second probably Luigi and R.O.B, since the Green Misille can pack a punch with two of his specials, especially the up special.....

R.O.B Can fly, and has a damaging rocket thrust

Worst is probably heavy characters, considering they fall easily and have limited recovery, like Ganondorf...

I picked him up near the end of Brawl's lifespan and he's much better in this game (well, all of my mains are) so it's awesome. He and Ganondorf are my two best characters, but since most of my mains are heavyweights, so in things like tournaments, Yoshi's sort of my pocket pick for when those don't work and he usually gets me the win. Yoshi and Ganondorf are just suited to different scenarios, but I couldn't tell you if I'm better with one over the other because of that.

My best are Bayonetta, Rosalina & Luma, and Lucas.

My worst?

Anyone whom I don't use often. Olimar comes to mind.

I want to be good with Bayonetta, but I don't click with her as well as I could, so more practice maybe.

I'm okay with Rosalina, but I get Luma killed a lot so I'm definitely doing it wrong.

Mii Gunner is probably my all-time worst, though.

I can't get the hang of Gunner either. Not as bad with it as I am with Mega Man, but Brawler is much more suited to my playstyle. I think I generally enjoy the other two's specials more myself.

Mii Gunner, huh? Now that it was mentioned, I'm comfortable with it personally, more than with the other 2 Mii Fighters. I have a lot of fun with the 3/2/1/2 moveset but last time I played it I struggled with delivering KOing hits; I'm considering using the missile Side+B instead of the stealth burst (not to mention that then it would be an accepted moveset for tournament play). However, I have yet to try it with neutral stats, as I stacked mine with Defense because buuuuulk.

I don't know which versions of the game I've played.  But on one of the original versions, my main was Link.  When I played (what I think was) the first version with Pit in it, (where pit could fly and didn't have a retarded yoyo as a up punch or something), he was my main.  In the PC version (Super Smash Flash: http://mcleodgaming.com/games/ssf2)my main was Ichigo or Zero Suit Samus (because she was good, not because I'm a perv).
