The Warden
With how Parasitic Fusionist works, the last effect of Crystal Bell is pretty damn clever, since every time you get rid of her, you bring back Winter Bell and Fusionist, then pretty much get Crystal back. Dokutah
a bell theme eh? its further validating that Yu-counterpart and Dimensional Girls archetypes reflect the very inner stereotypical or traditional children interest of fun and excitement in accordance to their gender. like Video games (Phantom Knights), traditional agility-toys (Speedroid), collecting scary and/or bizarre animal or Plant (Predator Plant), and Prank (Performapal). while the girls like Singing (Melodius), Dancing (Lunalights), playing musical instrument (Wind Witches). their play style seems to revolving around summoning better bodies on board that in tandem regularly copying the effects of monster in graveyard. (kinda reflect how bells and chimes suppose to work as: 1] most bells used to calling or reminding things like church bell or school bell 2] a bell basically have the same tone no matter how strong the wind, reflecting the copy effect. although the overall structure of sound can change on how it swing/ become stronger) for a while Snow-bell and Wind Calling Chime seems good as per their strategy Ice Bell aid the copy effect, though the burn is kinda subpar Call of the Wind Witch is meh as a level 7 2400/2000 lets just hope that the main decks has better effect to copy by Winter Bell. worrying indeed Crystal Bell is the best Bewildering wind is not bad but i choose Lose 1 Turn in any day. although to be fair i in tandem of Wind Witch (or any deck that require Lose 1 Turn-esque floodgate that less self punishing and and can still actively attack) is seems quite good EDIT: so i just watch the episode. then it occur to me, the way Winter Belle and Crystal Belle works is more akin to D HERO Diamond Dude rather than straight up copying effects. which is interesting and efficient since you don't need pay or wait the cost for the effects and can trigger on-summon effect (EDIT 2) and if it does work that way, it can trigger-copy Geminis effects too. Jord200
Kind of surprised its not a Gemini deck, given she was shown to have Lucky-Pied Piper or something at some point. I suppose this also probably dismisses my theory of Ruri using Ghosttricks to match with Yuto and Shun's schtik of a DARK Xyz Archetype that using Xyz Change. Toffee.
Well these are all really damn weird. The Fusion is pretty cool, though.
The Warden
Y'know, now that i think about it, Parasitic Fusioner is basically the Academia version of RUM - Barian's Force, and that Crystal Bell is pretty much the CXyz form of Winter Bell. Lizardonx
Why are all the synchros in synchro fusion decks so awful? 500 burn?! Seriously?
cardgameking
Why are all the synchros in synchro fusion decks so awful? 500 burn?! Seriously?I'm guessing they'll get a serious, serious buff. Funny thing is, what with Serena's dancers and Yuzu's singers and Ruri's god knows what, I can easily see the climax of Arc V being the Bracelet Girls using them in an Entertainment Duel to knock the Yu boys out of Berserk mode. Jord200
That be cool to see, but Yuri is still evil, and Yuya and Yuto are sharing a body. Why are all the synchros in synchro fusion decks so awful? 500 burn?! Seriously? Becuase the Fusions aren't even supposed to exist in their decks? Rin and Yugo didn't have a ton of money, and they likely built decks out of what they could find ( Not counting CWSD because plot importance ). And keep in mind in the anime, the starting Life Point ammount is 4000. 500 is a bit more of an issue if being inflicted to 4000 rather than 8000. Not by much, but still. Lizardonx
Are synchros that expensive where they come from? I mean random commons prisoners can afford to throw away yang zings for food and Crow kids had access to cards like Colossal fighter. Not to mention how on earth did Yugo ever lose to her when he has Clear and Crystal wing while she didn't have the fusion until now?
Jord200
Maybe Rin is just that good. Plus I don't think he had Crystal until the Friendship Cup.
~British Soul~
Kind of surprised it's not a Gemini deck, given she was shown to have Lucky-Pied Piper or something at some point.I have a feeling they showed her having Lucky-Pied Piper so that the viewers see what she had at the time, and then reveal her real deck later down the line. heraldry_lord
That Fusion is absurd.Quick effect copying from either grave and it replaces itself if it dies? Compensates for the lackluster theme she's a part of.
Brinolovania
Ya know, if this stuff gets buffed IRL and/or Rin gets more duels, this could turn out to be a pretty neat archetype. Bell Chime is pretty strong, and the idea of being able to have your Winter Bell/Crystal Bell toolbox with your Graveyard seems cool. I'm interested to see how this develops. Dokutah
would that mean that ruri is gonna have something related to playing house? like a doll themed deck?could be...although that role already stolen by Sora's Fright-Fluffal. my take is either Poetry or Embroidering (hoping the latter)
Draconus297
You know . . . On that note, the interests represented by the Yus don't exactly overlap. A boy who pretends like he's a knight isn't always going to play nicely with a kid collecting weird plants and animals, and the showboating Pal circus kid has no reason to play with the relatively quiet toys and games that Speedroids are. However, the "female interest" bracelet girls actually have a decent theme going. Singing, dancing, and playing music can and often are done together. If anything, Ruri is likely to run a Deck that cooperates with that common theme, like embroidery as mentioned above. The possibility of a 4-on-1 of the girls against a finally united super-berserk Yu-thing makes an astonishing degree of sense, especially considering that it would reference a GX arc: the Supreme King being opposed by Jaden's old friends. /theorycrafting
Azuriena
would that mean that ruri is gonna have something related to playing house? like a doll themed deck? The themes of the girls' Decks are based on Kachou Fuugetsu (花鳥風月 "flower, bird, wind, moon"). Yuzu being flower, Rin wind, and Serena moon. (They also go in the reverse order of release: Standard/Pendulum, Xyz, Synchro, Fusion.) So Ruri will most likely have a bird-themed Deck (much like Shun) in tandem with the performance theme you guys have already noted.
