Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder

Could the draco/kings use this?

Seems like they are the only deck that could actually run Uria and Hamon (and still be decent).

From my experience, I'm pretty sure the most continuous spells and traps you'd see on the field of a True Draco deck would be about 2 each, and that's being pretty generous.

this

also the only one you can forced in is Uria for Agnimazdo Fooder...and that's scream BS

these guys age horribly me think, unless to some that defend Uria due being the only one bearing actual power (Spell Speed 4 backrow removal) and tech it in Volcanics

Noteworthy targets are:

Fire Formations

Swords of Concealing Light

Brilliant Fusion

(Magician's Encore)

(Dark Contracts)

Pendulumgraph of Ages

Boss Rush

Contract with Don Thousand

And while the last one sounds alright on paper (to reduce the cost to 2 Continuous Spell cards) you would still hand your opponent a card, something which Hamon is hardly worth (considering he has no protection and lacks enough bite to push enough).

Without a new archtype, which amasses Continuous Spell cards or support for an old one (Crystal Beasts have been mentioned), the best deck to use this with would be a Fire Fist deck and considering their downfall it is questionable if they would dedicate a space just because they could.

Uria has always been the only Sacred Beast I considered playable, due to Trap Monsters, and the other Continuous Trap support such as Imperial Custom, giving you indestructible monsters that can still function as the costs.

Hamon...just struggles because most Continuous Spells are cards you want to keep out, and if they're expendable, they weren't very good in the first place, meaning the Deck focused on Hamon would probably brick too badly. Crystal Beasts probably can do it just fine, since they have support that makes use of the Continuous Spells and even replenishes them, but Hamon ultimately is just a 4000 beater, and we have a lot of those that are easier to bring out.

This wouldn't be feasible in True Dracos, and for a 3-material monster, IMO they are better off with Metatron before running this.

On the other hand, you could try True Dracos as an engine in Hamon-focused decks, taking advantage of the searchability and floating effects of their Continuous Spells.

Nothing can be decent if running this with serious intent to summon it, but I did build a hilariously terrible D/D deck with the Sacred Beasts once.

As far as it goes Brofists don't really (for the most part) stack on Fire Formations quickly enough for use, from what I can recall, esp since you'd need to send some of them to grave to activate others for some effects IIRC. Can work in a non-turn 1 context tho since Night Beam-esque and use as ammo aside, you don't usually need the Fire Formations for anything after 1 or 2 uses.

D/D are similar, exacerbated by having fewer searchers anyways, but they have fun benefit of meeting all 3 criteria needed to get all the Sacred Beasts, and it gives me an excuse to run Yamimakai for easier Raviel Tributes.

True Draco Spells are p mediocre IMO and I don't remember if they actually have more than 2 anyways, 'course you could always run another outside the archetype but good generic Cont Spells are surprisingly hard to come by. You're far more likely to see their Traps, but those will likely be burned for Master Peace 2 most the time before they go anywhere near the Sacred Beasts regardless.

Spirit Board is great meme and I'm sad I never noticed that interaction myself.

If you're OK with adding even more brick to Monarchs, that could be an option, but March of the Monarchs is kinda pretty bad and more than 1 Return of the Monarchs doesn't actually benefit you.

if you could use pendulums to summon him, that would have been nice. but since that's out the window, the only other deck i've got is probably a koaki mieru deck using the fire fist spells as an engine, and that's pushing hard, but assuming you managed to pull it off, koaki mieru have a lot of stun potential to protect your hamaon, and if you've got koaki urknight out, replenishing the lost monsters shouldn't be too hard either, but again, that's basically pushing the boundaries of common sense.
