Normal Trap Card

 

Set up to 2 "Feint Trap" directly from your Deck, also, after that, rearrange all Set Spell/Trap Cards you control, then Set them again to your Spell/Trap Zones. If this Set Card is sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: You can Set 1 Trap Card directly from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Feint Trap" once per turn.

What kind of card is this? A Normal Trap? A Spell? Proper reviews cannot be done if this is not known.

I think he intended for it to be a normal trap card.

Your opponent knows where it is and mostly likely never touch it and it would clog up to 2 zones out the 5 given (less if you still like pendulums for some reason)

I agree, I'm going to assume this was intended to be a Normal Trap. If that is the case, the first effect, as of right now, is pretty useless, seeing as your opponent is clearly gonna know that they are Feint Traps, making the element of "you dun goofed" somewhat moot... unless of course they have short-term memory, in which case, shame on you for taking advantage of the mentally handicap!

 

I would suggest adding that you can re-arrange your Set Spell/Traps after setting the next Feint Trap as to make this harder for your opponent to target (Magical Hats Traps ftw). Also, I'd put it down to floating a single Feint Trap so you get another re-arrange trigger (and less clog), the only con being that it's slower, but that's just a personal preference. The rest of the card effect is fine.

Man I wish it wasn't a OPT. Imagine activating this in response to Heavy Storm or Harpie's Feather Duster, which would immediately backfire as you Set any 2 Traps from your Deck. That's probably too good though.

 

 

I would limit it to Normal Traps maybe. Maybe also add a "During the Battle Phase, you can activate them the turn they were Set." so it promotes defensive stuff like any of the Mirror Forces, which your opponent then knows you have, which is hilarious.

NOW, makes it where opponent now have to think before acting. Still clogging the field and have to wait on opponent's interaction.

 

maybe add: "You can only activate each effect of "Feint Trap" once per turn.

Letting you know right now that OCG/grammar fixes, like this, are permitted, but only if you provide a proper review for the card in question. In this case, there are two effects and I will assume the TC wished to have the hard OPT only apply to the second. 

 

Your fix puts limiters on both.

I wanted to be sure because if this was, lets say, a Normal Spell, then it would have been a handy card to generate Spell/Trap fodder for engines like Diagram and whatnot, while discouraging the opponent from using mass S/T removal effects.

But as a Normal Trap, you cannot really use for that purpose if you want to use the engine right away. Still, looks like a fun card to play, especially as MST bait that will destroy it and trigger its effect. Or I should say Tornado Dragon or Twin Twisters bait instead since MST was already dropped for Cosmic Cyclone xD
