Astro Dude Posted September 13, 2008 Report Share Posted September 13, 2008 Hey everyone. I just saw the american version of 5d's today and I thought it was AWESOME. The theme song was nice. The displays looked more awesome thatn they did in GX, and for newb's they explain monster card effects. They only explained two: Montage Dragon and Junk Synchron. I thought it was pretty cool. Now imagine summoning Montage Dragon by sending three Level 12 monsters. That would result in a total of 10,800 ATK. Now that would be unbeatable. I also thought the voices were cool, if not, nostalgic. And Junk Warrior looked cool. If that was what one episode had to offer imagine the whole series. Now that would be something to see. His opponent (me) had only 1 set card in the back row, so he swings with montage, I activate magical cilindar. I love montage dragon right now. Also, I didn't like 5D's today. TotalObelisk Posted September 15, 2008 Report Share Posted September 15, 2008 The theme songs they picked out weren't perfect, but Hyperdrive was probably the best in my opinion, at least they seem to have put some thought into this about what the fans like rather than what their mother's approve of. I haven't seen the dub yet but it seems to be getting positive comments so far, but as I said my only concern right now is what they do do Aki, seeing as she.....Kills people... But I bet you didn't know that the twins will be called Luka (male) and Luna (female). Plus the site has character descriptions for Yusei, Jack, Luka, Luna and Akiza. If you look on one of the episodes, i think its the one where Yusei first meets the twins it says Luka and lua or sumthing. I'm gonna be so confused when the fics come around. No one believed it wholy in 13 since the raw dudes put Fortun instead of Fortune for the name of the cup. Then it came up again in 15 so it was accepted.
