I've waited as long as I could. Shame only 1 team showed their card.

Browarod

Hunter

Ned

You all get to go to the Semi Finals.

K.B. Vs. Shradow

Dragon's Lieglord

Pic (20 points possible): First off, yes this picture is overused. Since you didn't use it in my contest, it's fine. I do somewhat question it though, explain how it's a Liege lord. 19/20

Balence (30 points possible): A note to everyone; Please post your card's effect under the card. It's much easier for the judges to read. Looking at this card, you make it seem like a quick way for Yugi to get Slifer out. Either way, it's balenced. 30/30

OCG/Grammar (40 points possible): You forget a lot of basic things, like commas. You have to give names to counters (e.g. Spell Counter) and cap it. The sentence about summoning the Dragons doesn't make sense when reading it. 28/40

Other things (10 possible points): Nothing comes to mind. 10/10

Follows Rules (900 points possible): I re-read Shradow's entry card, wow, I can't believe I accepted that. Anyway, you even balenced his card. 900/900

Total: 987/1000

Gem Of The Sky

Pic (20): I don't like it. black background and all that. You could have done better. 10/20

Balence(30): I guess. Not much to balence out. 30/30

OCG/Grammar (40): I guess. 39/40

Other Things (10): I thought I posted 'Indirectly Supports the card used to.......' but I guess I didn't. I really don't like the pic nitpicky things, too. 7/10

Follows the Rules (900): 900/900

Total: 986/1000

1 point difference.

Shradow, goodbye. Before you leave, please pay K.B. to the sum of 1 rep, or 30 points.

You do qualify to judge next round, if your interested.

Round 7, The merge.

In this round, I will be assigning you an existing card. Your job is to make a INDIRECT support/poison that makes this card ridiculously overpowered, or underpowered. The member in RED will try to make the supprt card make the real card seem UNDERPOWERED, and the member in the GREEN will make it seem OVERPOWERED. Understand?

Ned93 Vs. Darth Browarod

Your card is: Obelisk the Tormentor

K.B. Vs Hunter

Your card is: Gigobyte

Anyway, I've been thinking of the final round, and got an idea. It involves making 20 cards. Would anyone who's going to the finals be okay with that? (spells and monsters alike, Hunter)

I do somewhat question it though' date=' explain how it's a Liege lord.

[b']I had a pic that depicted a person who resembled more of a liegelord, but I decided to change to this one at the last minute.

You have to give names to counters (e.g. Spell Counter) and cap it.

Actually there are a lot of cards that don't require actual names for counters. Example:

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Catapulter

Counters only require names if they are used throughout more then a single card, and if they must be distinguished from other counters (so as to prevent being able to use Venom Counters with Spellcaster-Type monsters who rely on Spell Counters, for example).

A 1 point difference?! O_o

Going to have to do better this round...

Ok then. I'll make Gigobyte rediculously broken on even noob's standards.

Ugh... As much as I have a preference towards making monsters, I CAN make spells and traps. Just, not as well. Im fine with it. Is it just 20 cards or is there somethng more specific you have in mind?

OK, here goes my card. If I need to explain how does it make Obelisk weak - just tell me, but I think you're clever enough to figure it out yourself.

1zpjgpv.jpg
As long as this card remains face-up, all monsters on the field lose 1000 ATK x the number of Tributes used for their Summoning. In addition, any monster that is Special Summoned to the field, cannot attack or use its effect on the turn it is Summoned. Each time a Level 7 or higher monster is sent to the Graveyard, inflict 1000 damage to its owner.

They have to work with a specific Anime set who's name I cannot release, cause you might not get to the finals >.>

I wanted a drasticly overpowered monster, and a terriblely underpowered monster.

I thought Gigobyte would be easy for ideas, cause it's computery and has bigger forms.

Obelisk is good for pictures cause he's a famous porn star.

Well, I finally finished my entry. I wanted to make it realistic enough to be used with more cards than just Obelisk, so the effect has more than just something to go with his effects. Speaking of his effects, I assumed that he has the same effects as he does in the YGO video games, and that's what I derived the support from.

When either player activates a card effect that requires a cost, activate the appropriate effect based on the type of cost:

- Tributing monsters: A player can Tribute 1 less monster for any cost of Tributing 2 or more monsters.

- Paying Life Points: A player can pay half the Life Point cost.

- Discarding cards: A player can discard 1 less card for any cost of discarding 2 or more cards (excludes discarding entire hand).

This card remains face-up on your side of the field until the 2nd End Phase after activation. Select 1 face-up Level 3 or lower Reptile-Type monster you control. The selected card is treated as Dinosaur-Type and it is treated as Level 8. The selected monster gains ATK equal to the number of monsters in your opponent's Graveyard x 800. As long as this card remains face-up, Dinosaur-Type monsters are not affected by the effects of your opponent's Spell Cards. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can remove it from play to place 1 "Malicious Evolution" from your Deck to the top of your Deck.

wolfy pic. Couldn't get a better one.

Random Repitle support that makes gigobyte a beatstick. not my best work, but I was running out of time.
