This would only make it worse.

Doesn't it only get 1 per turn normally? Isn't 3 better than 1?

Besides' date=' it's not the bike that's giving him the counters - it's the Field Spell Card "Speed World".

[/quote']

But it's Yusei and his bike that are receiving them. And since they're supposed to represent, well, speed, it makes sense that Yusei's D-Wheel would get extra Speed Counters.

It's red.

Yes' date=' the effect of Speed World gives 1 Speed Counter to the turn player during their Draw Phase. Giving 3 per turn would make it extremely broken since so many Spell Cards require large numbers of Speed Counters to activate. [The reason that the players don't normally use OTHER Spell Cards in a Turbo Duel is because that they are not allowed (in the anime) and (from the duel server I used) it is listed that you will take 2000 damage if you use a card that does not have "Speed Spell" in its name.']

It's red.

If that is the case, then EVERYBODY'S D-Wheelers would get the bonus Speed Counters - since they represent speed just as much as Yusei's D-Wheeler.

Red is good =D

Everyone should get Speed Counters, since they all have some speed, but Yusei's should get 3 instead of 1.

It's red.

So you're saying that because it's red' date=' and red is a color that represents speed on vehicles, it should gain more Speed Counters?

[/quote']

It's not that red represents speed. It's that it's red. If it's red, it must be three times faster than normal.

Well, most of the faster models of cars are typically painted red. People DO believe that red cards go faster - and most cars pulled over for excessive speeding ARE red. I see why you would say that Yusei's should get more counters because of this.

You're missing the point. >_>

Plus, we've been shown that it's even a custom model built by Yusei himself. If anything red is three times faster than normal, it's Yusei's D-Wheel.

EVERY D-Wheeler that has been shown by a major character (save for Ushio, since he is using a generic Security Bureau issue one) is a custom model. (ex. Bommer's model is gigantic, Jack's only has one wheel that goes along the exterior of the D-Wheeler, and Crow's sprouts wings.)

Yes, but theirs aren't red, so theirs aren't three times faster than a normal D-Wheel.

You are all ignoring the fact that red happens to be a Mary Sue's favorite color. Why else was Jaden stuck in Slifer Red for the entire show? If he had moved up' date=' he may have lost his Sueness due to the fact that he would no longer be affiliated with the color red.

[/quote']

Slifer's red, so he's three times stronger than a normal Egyptian God Card.

Please, Ra can send Slifer begging on its knees in seconds!

BTW, Jaden wanted to stay in Slifer Red apparently because he liked the "burning fiery spirit and hot passion of red."

Contrary to the 3x speed of red, Jaden's clone plays a burn deck. -_-

I don't see Solar Flare Dragon winning speed either.

If anything is fast, it's black. Just see DAD, Malicious, and Crow's D-Wheel.
