At its weakest, it's an infinite piece of 1-for-1 face-up monster removal with all the advantages of choosing what to kill and none of the disadvantages of being vulnerable to effects that resist targeting. At its strongest, it turns every card in your hand into a Lightning Vortex that lacks the discard cost.

This card is basically the ultimate Type Killer, since it punishes not just a specific theme deck but all themed decks - and still has utility even when facing non-themed decks.

i'm divided...

at one side' date=' this card is a great type killer that can cripple several decks and for that reason deserves to stay banned...

at the other side, this card is less broken than snipe hunter, and can be placed at 1 IF snipe is banned...

This card and Snipe Hunter serve different purposes and have different problems.

Oh, and BLS is less broken than CED, but I still wouldn't want to see BLS come back at 1.

I vaguely recall using this with DNA Transplant.

I can't remember why though.

It's too dangerous and detrimental to bring back.

The fact that it belongs to one of the most underdeveloped Types pretty much takes away it's only drawback.

Turning EVERY SINGLE CARD in your hand into a Fissure or Smashing Ground is just way too broken.

Was dominating at one point of the meta

But now' date=' since most archetypes run different types of cards, this card i believe could come off the banlist and not become a threat

[/quote']

And that's good because now, Tele-DAD can dominate more, as Tele-DAD will have a easier time killing off zombie swarms with a single discard, so that hope for zombies to overcome Tele-DAD in the meta drops. Allowing Tele-DAD to further dominate the meta. [/sarcasm]

I thought themed-decks have always been preferred over random decks with every overpowered card unbanned in it, to dominate the meta.

I don't see why are we unbanning this to strengthen Tele-DAD.

I think you were doing it wrong. Do you mean Surgery?

It seems to get less and less broken' date='

[/quote']

Did it's effect change?

it might be back in a few metas now that everything in any decent deck is a different type.

I really hope that you are implying that Konami might be so dumb to do this, which is perfectly possible, and not that it'd be 'ok', for some reason, if it returned after a few while.

The operative word here is "seems", and the operative phrase is "seems to you", and the operative implication is "seems to you because you're thick".

First of all, when did Zombies and Plants drop off the face of the earth?

Second of all, why on earth should we consolidate the power of non-themed decks by giving everyone a Raigeki-with-legs with which to walk all over anyone who uses any semblance of a Type-theme while still having amazing utility against pretty much any deck that runs monsters?
