Noisy "C"

EARTH *

Scale: 4/4

Insect/Pendulum/Effect

PE: You can only Pendulum Summon non-pendulum monsters.

ME: If your opponent has a card(s) in their Pendulum Zone, you can activate this effect; destroy one of them then place this card from your Hand into that Pendulum Zone. You can only use this effect of "Noisy "C"" once per turn.

100/2000

An anti-pendulum "C" monster that I came up with a while ago. Conditional? Yes. Powerful? I think so.

Considering the Decks that see use nowadays, this card certainly will cause a lot of them to brick; foremost being Qli, Majespecters, Igknights (if they're still relevant now) and Performas to an extent (however they can still function with NSing and all that).

I said "to an extent" on Performas, given that they aren't all Pendulum monsters; albeit majority of them indeed are.

Your opponent can still blow this card up with Wavering Eyes or something else if they need to, but this card will definitely neuter a few things while it exists.

-----

I could probably say limit this card's effect to "once per turn", so you can't just blow up both of your opponent's Scales and set duplicates of this.

However, that is an unlikely situation, but definitely change this.

Or you can require that both zones be filled before you blow up one to force this on the opponent.

The card text needs work. I can't tell if it's meant to destroy by cost or by effect, also "set this card" may be misunderstood as placing it face-down, which isn't possible; looking at Clash of the  Dracorivals, "place" should be a more appropriate word for this effect instead of "set". And don't worry about the double "", Maxx C has a hard OPT clause and it reads as You can only use 1 "Maxx "C"" per turn.

Fixes aside, this is an interesting card. It sticks with the theme of the "C" cards by disrupting the opponent, in this case its Pendulum Summons. I like how it's similar to Flying C in that it goes to the opponent's field, taking a Pendulum Zone and potentially mess with the opponent's scales. 4 is a cool Level to lock as well, given the popularity of Level4s.

Thanks V, I made the changes and made it clearer that the destruction and placement are both effects.

To be honest, I had the idea for this card, but I was gonna make it an Ojama or Duston, completely forgetting that it plays right into the "C" theme perfectly. I only remembered them after someone used Maxx against me in ygopro.

Thanks for the input Xander. It is kinda the point of this card to hurt full-pendulum decks. I mean, even with this out, Pendulums don't become any worse than regular monsters; they are still able to be summoned normally/have their effects, but only losing out on their ability to recur.

Of course, I am open to suggestions to change it up.
