Fletcher's soul is absorbed into the Sphere.

"No matter..."

Zarkus looked at Zhilo

"In ancient times, people were together with God. People loved God, revered and even feared God. Eventually they sought the ability to become gods themselves. I will grant humanity that wish... by surrendering their individuality, I will make them into a God themself."

Zarkus jabbed Fletcher in the chest, and his soul was forcibly absorbed into the Sphere, permanently.

"Fear drives evolution! Human beings have used their intelligence to conquer their fears and to obtain power... and now I'll give them the chance to give up that fear and become God!" He laughed again.

"You're just human... you cannot hope to stop me. Give up. I'll relieve you of pain, of suffering. You'll be at peace, forever."

Zarkus smiled calmly. It wasn't insane, evil or anything. It was pure.

"Never inhibited. Never in pain. Always happy."

Zarkus exerted energy and knocked Zhilo down. He rose up, and spoke to all of humanity.

"Human kind! Be free from the bonds of flesh! A pure consciousness has no true form. A pure conciousness would never need to feel pain, or ever feel pain. Just close your eyes and relax... and become one pure being."

Souls started going into the Sphere at a high rate...

OOC: Someone aside from Zhilo for a change do something dammit >_>

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that."

Blue walked up to Zarkus, mask half fallen-off. However, he stood up straighter than Blue usually did, and spoke with an almost entirely different voice. "Humanity's worth lies in their fears... their fears, their separation from eachother, their divisions... Each person has their own little world, and the laws of their world makes no sense to one from another. Perhaps that's the ultimate goal of the human mind... to get a peak, just a small peak, at the inner workings of another's mind, but yet, ultimately retreat to their own. Only people so vastly different, with different ways of surving, different ways of interpretation the same information... can we see the difference between Truth and Lies. Light and Darkness... A Mask, and Life..." He said, slowly, touching his face.

Zarkus smiled.

"Look. Look at humanity... they're willingly submitting themselves to me. They know that this path will grant them peace!"

He started getting more and more exited (not in a good way.)

"They want to be the same! They want to be equal! They want to be free of pain! Prove me wrong! PROVE IT! They know what's going to happen! They WANT to become one being! One pure being! Now, come! Show me that humanity doesn't really want this! Show me that they want to be free of pain, sorrow, and misery! Prove it to me once and for all!"

Blue nodded. "Very well. Red!" Blue called.

Red appeared in a flash of slight fire. He nodded at Blue. "...Are you... the CPU, or my brother?" He asked, slightly unsurely. Blue paused.

"...Perhaps, brother, there is no difference between the two." Blue's final mask fragment fell off, revealing a grinning face beneath it. "Red... let us become one. It is true, everyone has their own world, their own distinct vision of reality... but we were both devised with the same view of reality in mind... stopping people like HIM from doing this!" He said angrilly.

Red nodded. "Indeed... goodbye, Adegos."

"Goodbye, Zakra."

There was a bright flash of light, as a piller of light struck from above the two creatures. A massive explosion of data, and what appeared to be an unidentifiable type of energy, coating the area. The entire area was brightened... and then, it dulled, to a light violet.

A man sat up. He was wearing royal Purple robes, trimmed with Gold Leaf. In a scabbard on his back, he held a gigantic golden claymore, a ruby and sapphire placed at the end. He wore a mask, but unlike the others, it only covered his eyes; A vicious, hawk-like visage of a wyvern-like creature.

"Now..." He said, drawing his claymore. "I will show you... the true strength of the human soul."

Zarkus looked down at the new being.

"You continue to exist as an unfettered soul, free from the shackles of flesh and blood… A completely pure consciousness… An eternal spiral, undefiled by impurities... yet immensely strong. A fusion of fire, breath, and spirit… What can I call you…but an angel? A new, pure, unrivaled psyche… But what you lack is reality." He said, starting to glow a red color.

"And that is what I shall provide you with…!"

The man chuckled. "A name? What is but a name, but an attempt at understanding? A being like me shouldn't be understood... a being such as myself, should stay unknown, a being, free of the limitations of one with a name... free of acknowledgment, free of being known... So that when it comes to those such as them, I will be unknown. I will strike fear, as fear comes from lack of knowledge..." He smirked. "And it is that very lack of knowledge that drives that species you attempt to assimilate, Zarkus. All their dreams, their hopes, their victories... born when fear is defeated, when something is successfully understood. Only with fear, can they truly evolve as a people, can they come one step closer to touching the heavens themselves..." He growled, and glared at Zarkus. "But one like yourself, who seeks to connect them all artificially... will end in naught but failure. If a human can completely understand one another, what is there to strive for? What does he to aim for? All that will remain... is infinite stagnation. And to prevent that, I shall give myself a name...Royal. I am Royal, the monarch of the humans... I give myself that title, for in this battle, it is I who represent them. I was not chosen, but gave the reponsibility to myself... as only I may do it. And thus, Zarkus, I challenge you- JUST TRY TO BEAT THE FLAMES OF THE INFINITE HUMAN POTENTIAL!

"This will be a one on one duel between me and Royal. 8000 Life Points. If I lose, I give all of this up." he said, an "X" appearing on his chest.

"This will seal the deal. You go first, my honored opponent."

OOC: Zenrias, this is the duel Ive been waiting for. Dont interfere >_>

(OOC; I prefer Macross Plus' Information High myself. It seems to fit this theme fairly well.)

Royal drew his cards.

[H=6]

[L=8000]

"I summon... The Infinite Human Spirit!"

There was a glow, and a panel of the field lit up. Nothing appeared in there, at least for a few moments. Suddenly, lights from every direction condensed there; The mind and soul of every human on Earth, sucked by Zarkus, and attracted to the single card. Appearing there was a man-shape, made up of whispy white smoke (0/0).

"Your turn."

[spoiler=Card]

The Infinite Human Spirit

Level 1; Light

[Warrior]

"Humans, across time and space. While they may look

weak at first, they have an Ultimate Potential."

"Infinite human spirit eh?" Zarkus said with a grin.

"I draw. I'll show you the power of a unified mind... Spell card, activate! Unified Sentiance and Single Conciousness!"

Two orbs appeared next to Zarkus. One white, one black. One representing fear, one courage.

"I then activate Discord Burial to send Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to the Grave who I summon with Unified Sentiance and have him attack your monster! Set 2 cards and use Single Conciousness to add Discord Burial back to my hand. Turn end."

Hand: 0

[spoiler=card]

Unified Sentiance

Once per turn, Special Summon one monster from your Graveyard, ignoring any summoning conditions. The effect of this card cannot be negated, and this card cannot be removed from the field. You cannot lose the duel by having no cards left in your deck.

Single Conciousness

Continuous Spell card

The body of Sigma vanished in a small data stream, landing it in the cathedral. The main console activates and he reaches a hand up to a kayboard, where he types a long password. Entering it, another column surrounds him and takes him up to a large sanctuary in the sky, where he finally stands up. He takes a look around, and activates a new console. Three walkways open up tot hree pillars, each with a ritual card. He grabs them all and returns to the centre, where a spell card appeared, he grabbed that too. Using a quick /goto he returned to the battle scene. 'Shame you started your duel early Royal'.

"Activate- Subjugation of Nature!" Royal yelled. A trap card appeared above them, showing a tribe of primal humans fighting back against a gigantic, dinosaur-bear creature. Blue Eye's Ultimate's attack approached the Spirit of Humans... and seemed to be absorbed. Suddenly, the Spirit of Humans leapt up, as winds of energy gathered below it, before forming into ANOTHER Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, with reins put around the center head. The other Blue Eyes ultimate howled in pain, as it was obliterated. "Now, my spirit, Respond in kind!" Royal yelled, gesturing with his hand.

[spoiler=Card]

Subjugation of Nature

[Trap/Counter]

You can activate this card from your Deck if you have a face-up "The Infinite Human Spirit" on your side of the field, and no other face-up cards. The activation and effect of this card cannot be negated in any way. Negate 1 attack one of your opponent's monster, remove it from play, and Special Summon 1 'Subjugation' Token to your side of the field (A Subjugation Token does not count as a face-up card). A 'Subjugation Token' has the same Atk, Def, Attribute, Type, and Effect as the monster removed from play did. A 'Subjugation Token' may attack as soon as it is summoned (even during the opponent's turn). While there is a face-up 'Subjugation Token' on the field, all your face-up "Infinite Human Spirit" cards are unaffected by your opponent's card effect.

**As long as humans have lived, they've struggled against the forces of nature that attempt to destroy them; And yet, at every interval, they have endured.
