Well it seem's this has turned into a gay marriage debate.....

There is a general stereotype of conservatives that they are un-accepting, un-educated, and old fashioned. Albeit some of these things are painfully true, there are some GOOD Republicans. Take Bobby Jindal for example. He's a cool guy 8). The reason I respect him is that he develops his own views, takes a stance based on what he knows is right for the general good. If any politician can be like that, then I respect them. Conservatives who let their personal feelings and biases interfere with their political views are the ones who are stereotyped. And I think a lot of it comes back to RELIGION. That is the reason for the anti-gay marriage/racist/pro-life sterotypes directed towards them...

Since no one really get's what's going on, I'll just explain myself and clear up some of the tension that has come into being.

 

I am not a nazi. My father is a Jew and I grew up Jewish. I became an atheist around the age of 13 and became a Buddhist a couple years after that. The whole Nazi thing was part of a facade created to anger persons in this debate. I had hoped for more replies in anger to my blasphemy, but 3 pages of text between everyone is really very seriously good enough.

 

I am an avid supporter of Gay Marriage; I have participated in the National Day of Silence every time in the last three years. There is nothing wrong with being feminine (for male or female); and I would agree that a child with two loving parents, regardless of their gender, would be the best off. I guess that anything that sounded like it was "from the heart" about homosexuals was derived purely from this one specific homosexual guy whose personality, due to him being a complete dick and nothing else, makes me sick to my stomach. It added some character to my little rant (because it contained too much bullshit to be considered a debate), which, at least for me, led for a more entertaining final result (your responses).

 

I'm not a conservative; although I support gun laws, I also support abortion rights and the legalization of many now illicit "state altering" substances, along with the right for all adult individuals to marry whom they wish.

 

In actuality, the only statements that I made that I actually support were the ones in the area of Secular/controlled rule. I think it has become obvious enough that because of my philosophical beliefs and my "anti social-darwinist" beliefs, that I do not support letting people make mistakes, and would rather stagnancy throughout the entirety of the human world; i.e. my support of economically socialist and socially fundamentalist political structures.

You bring up a point, Wilford. That's why condoms have been banned in The Vatican and surrounding areas. The Catholic Church is against them and is more into planning through programs, teaching, etc.

Last time I checked, the Republican Party has a certain stance on abortion, and thus abortion is completely relevant to why everyone hates Republicans.
