I've been told the translation on wiki is wrong. Apparently if you chose to remove anything from your opponent's side you must do the same on yours.

Huh? That makes no sense...

 

it should make sense, that monster must have a drawback so its not a surprise that if you remove cards from your opponent you should also remove cards as well as a punishment.

Kaius was good last time I checked. D.D. Crow was good last time I checked. Discarding 1 card and more than just that, removing it from play is great too.

 

You might not lift your opponent's field as Mist Wurm does but the shock remains there. I would really use this xD

 

Lol if someone Synchros for Myst Wurm, returns 3 cards to the hand, then De-Synchro and Re-Synchro for Trishula and remove the possible remaining card, a Key card from the Grave, and 1 of the cards. xD sounds like a -# to me but would be funny..
